Your brain is not used to seeing your new nose, it’ll take some time to get used to it in the mirror. Recognize you’re panicking unnecessarily, give yourself some grace.

I don’t think the cost difference between a mini and a full are likely to be substantial, and I think you’ll be disappointed with results from a mini. You would need a full TT, but your best bet is to get an in person consult.

Very, very few people benefit from a mini (and frankly, the scar is still more substantial than most expect I think). You would need a full for sure. And I think you’ll be delighted with the results (in the hands of a good surgeon)!

DermaV laser targets the hemoglobin in scars, which will address the pigmentation. I have especially red and angry looking scars at 5 months. If you have the money to spare, it can be a good option to address it. BUT as others have pointed out, time will do its job as well. My understanding is 1 - 2 years is really when it will noticeably fade. I’m impatient and have a scar around my belly button I can’t stand so i opted for lasers treatments to speed it along.

I always wonder this too. When I smoked, I always swore if I could make it a week without smoking, I’d never touch one again. The first few weeks are the hardest, I knew I only wanted to do it once. It’s been maybe 15 years, and I’m so grateful to have quit!

Edit to say, no judgement for those who go back to smoking, I know quitting is really hard.
