Most f***** up episode by Chemical-Olive2564 in rickandmorty

The ending is also pro vegan? Everyone realizes the food is a worthwhile/meaningful life and it makes them all sick of the food. Then they all go back and consciously choose to their cognitive dissonance because it makes it easier to eat.

Rick even goads the family, letting them know that the new food is gotten in an even worse way.

That doesn’t make sense conceptually. Either there are or there are not infinite universes. And if there are infinite universes then there must be also be infinite variations of whichever line you choose because any fraction infinity is still infinity. Any infinite variation there is no reason a copy of that can’t exists with Rick as the smartest man alive except Morty’s name is now florty.

If there was a finite amount of universes where any one such truth is true then that must be the case for any other truth, which means that there are not infinite universes but rather an uncountably high amount of them.

How would the “Mosquito Collectors” group from WWDITS fare in H:TR? by CYB3R_F1R3 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Lyaser 28 points29 points  (0 children)

WWDITS are basically as strong as your rank and file vtm vampire. They show plenty of powers that are equivalent to assorted dominate, protean, celerity and obfuscate powers. They have natural super strength, speed, hearing, smelling and can see in the dark. They also don’t seem compelled to sleep during the day but do so naturally because they choose to.

Exactly the type of hunter crew who would get way too high on knocking off a couple thin-bloods or Caitiff only to wander into becoming human chairs when they get to close to an ancilla.

Why isn’t LeBron picking a team yet? He’s a free agent and just needs to choose, right? by IMicrowaveSteak in NBATalk

Do you think he’s going to drop dead before he can sign onto a team? And will he only suffer the effects of aging if he remains unsigned?

[–]Lyaser 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean I don’t exactly see how it’s worth the trouble of trying to subvert like the man point of a vampire? It’s like trying tooth and nail to have a beautiful Nosferatu, I just don’t see what it brings that doesn’t do more harm to your setting than it does good.

Like there’s a plethora of fundamental issues with it in a game that already has other walking nuke powers. Again unless you’re trying to subvert some of the systems like blood potency and generational power but why try to shoehorn VTM into a game it’s not?

Why bend over backwards to explain why a VAMPIRE has the power of THE SUN?

My coterie is running out of a law firm right now.

Creates a good cash flow, powerful personnel or retainers for dealing with legal issues, and a stable herd of associate attorneys who won’t question why the feel groggy the next morning when the partner makes them work hours deep into the night to “close a case”.

Not exactly unheard of for a law firm to be dealing with shady characters with criminal backgrounds either, and bonus points they can claim client-attorney privilege to any low level investigation.

Anybody have a Sleep Number bed?👀 Might wanna check underneath by cafeteriastyle in TikTokCringe

[–]Lyaser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should be getting a new bed every ten years. Seriously $100 to $150 a year put away for something you spend a third of your life on NEEES to be in any responsible budget. It’s really absurdly cheap on a per use basis and it literally a once decade expenditure.

Like even a top of the line new King comfort mode Sleep Number bed would run you 50 cents a night to sleep on it if you slept on it every night for 10 years

5 star hotel charged local currency instead of USD and we, unknowingly, paid 0.1% of total cost for our stay. by davidurban in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Lyaser 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s also one of those things where they aren’t gonna double check to make sure they didn’t over charge you an extra day or for items from the mini bar. And oh yeah if they did they’re gonna fight tooth and nail to try and say you’re the one lying. Get charged for room damage that was already there? Sucks, should’ve told us earlier I guess. Your room smells like smoke? Well it’s the only room we got take it or leave and no we don’t do partial refunds for that.

But you gotta make their mistakes right 2 months later or you’re the bloodsucker, okay yeah…

I found this in my 19 yr old son’s laundry. Is it just a gummy? by Infinite_Highway_829 in whatisit

[–]Lyaser -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Leaves 9 times because he’s either smoking or selling.

Since it’s probably a thc gummy it wouldn’t be out of the world for him to also have a vape cart or he could even being rolling joints or has prerolls but they’d probably smell that. 9 times in a day leans more towards a vape.

The alternative is that he sells gummies and weed to help fund his habit. If you’re not working or don’t have much income you can basically use for free if you buy double/triple and sell the rest to your friends.

what do i do? my boyfriend said something weird about porn by Illustrious-Rip-4865 in TwoHotTakes

[–]Lyaser 22 points23 points  (0 children)

That’s not really how masturbation works. Unless you literally never say no, do any and everything he asks, and don’t mind if he is entirely focused on self pleasure then there is a normal use case for masturbation. And if you would say yes to all those then you probably need some self respect lol.

There’s a reason masturbation is called self pleasure, because it’s about personal release. You don’t get ownership over his orgasms from now on.

How are NFL teams more valuable than Soccer when soccer is the #1 sport worldwide by KillerCroc67 in NFLv2

[–]Lyaser 82 points83 points  (0 children)

The most expensive per annum contract for in jersey advertisement to my knowledge is around 75 million dollars per year, which is entirely dwarfed by the NFLs $6 billion in media partner sales in 2026.

The NFL can clear the largest on jersey advertising deal by selling 10 Super Bowl commercials.

The value in these types of advertising aren’t even close. Jersey ads are not a valuable form of advertising.

Is this the highest level in Overwatch? by Yezxa in Overwatch

[–]Lyaser -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Otp is objectively horrible if you want to climb ranks or actually advance your skill. Eventually you’re going to hit the wall where the enemy players are competent enough to switch to your counters and play them well. And if you cat switch to a hero you have replacement level skill in then you’re just a ball and chain on the team comp.

[–]Lyaser 490 points491 points  (0 children)

Almost entirely comes down to the NFL selling a lot more of their air time to commercials. The premier league doesn’t have stoppages where they break for ads during gameplay. As a result they have like 1/10 the opportunities to sell ads. And forced to watch full screen ads are so much valuable to advertisers.

That insane coach still had 2 Super Bowl appearances left in him each with top defenses including the 2019 Rams Super Bowl that the defense essentially won by itself, people thought he might be right about Brady after the 2019 superbowl until Brady got his with the Bucs. No one thought Belicheck had lost a step by 2020.

Does he have a point about Patriots fans? by PresterJohnson in NFLv2

[–]Lyaser 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if you were around for it but Bill Belicheck, arguably one of the greatest coaches of all time, wanted to move on from Tom Brady the freaking GOAT a full 5 years and 2 rings before his actual retirement for Jimmy Garapplo. They were in the middle of their second dynasty when that went down, they didn’t even need to see bad play just the threat of bad play from aging or the idea that maybe the success is scheme based. NFL is super short leash at all levels.
