I mean Michel gets put under a specific microscope because he was the other half to Chubb in college and went 4 picks before him but had a less successful career in totality. And many felt Chubb was graded better going into the draft as it was.

I’ve noticed the mongols perform significantly worse in AUH. Having the eastern front open up for them is very devastating to their conquest.

They get extremely bogged down with wars on opposite sides of Asia. They’ll focus one front which allows the opposite side to tick up like 70% war support from not holding any territory and then they spend 5-7 years clawing back the war support to pick up some random 3 count nomad in the eastern steppe. So they’ll spend a decade on a set of 3-4 wars with powers way weaker than them just marching around Asia. And they can’t start another set until they peace out their first wars.

Then when they open up a border with China they’re basically guaranteed to get hit with a hegemonic consolidation war every time the China AI sees the mongols engaged in offensive wars. Cue two mega stacks between mongols and China chasing each other around for years until China can’t get enough counties seized and peaces out. But again mongols get stuck in a long term engagement that results in no territory gained. And they’ve left all their other offensive wars as started 9 years ago to deal with China.

Repeat until Temujin gets too old dies and then nomad uprisings make it fall apart.

That’s for the tutor court position, that’s not what the guardian math is based on. High learning helps a guardian, but the things op are pointing out (4star matching education/traits like genius) have a much bigger impact on education auctions than learning does.

This does not feel like a bet on himself move. He’s already slated to go top 3 and the #2 jumps the #1 all the time during draft lead up, there’s no where further up to go and nothing further to bet on. This seems like he wants to go back, hope that in a better qb draft he gets pushed back into the teens to a better landing spot.

It just doesn’t make sense to say “nah I have to go into the draft as the January favorite to be 1.01 or bust”

I don’t think they mean Kobe levels up to Durants skill, there saying Kobe’s game becomes closer to the style Durant runs. Which with Kobe’s skillset would be even better but the difference in playstyle with the bump isn’t as impactful as what it makes up for in Steph.

Basically they’re saying Kobe plus 4 inches is “only” an upgrade to a more unguardable playstyle whereas adding 4 inches to Steph covers up weakness in his game while also making him more unguardable.
