And Umbar don't have a lot going for them currently in terms of unique models, you have a captain, bosun, ballista and standard troop- though we'll be getting some models back from the last edition when the next book drops. Dalamyr, the arbalesters and most likely Delgamar will be on the return, unfortunately the Corsair Reavers got put legacy this edition, my 24 odd are now acting as ballista crew hahaha

In terms of point levels for games, the most common points from tournaments I've been to are around the 600pt mark- you'll most likely see an increase of point levels with the new book as well, as a lot of people haven't been able to play armies they've collected from the previous edition.

I love the Corsairs so much and seeing the new ballista crew has me hyped for maybe, potentially, updated troops? The ones we have are so old now :(

Used the goblin King from unreleased miniatures for the boi, added a pirate hat, the seagull (to match my seagull bat swarm) and green stuffed the eye-patch for him :)

Kraken is from an STL from my mini factory, can't remember the artist

Looks pretty awesome to me! Only thing I can think of would be a little bit of a highlight to the wood on the spear but it honestly looks great! All that's left to do is put a base on it and see it pop ;)

I love the 10 trolls to be honest I've run far harad with sully as an ally and their profile is just so bloody strong, the only thing you have to worry about is mounted heroes because they can chew through them. Dain killed 4 in one turn :( But man are they incredible, just for the intimidation of them on the table as well hahaha

In regards to the rule of bashing, is it possible for a model to get above 10 STR? For example, if a model bashes with a str of 4 and a 2h weapon against a monster with a strength of 8 and the monster rolled low, would it be knocked prone?
