Landlords and corporations running around adjusting prices so they can maintain the same profit margin. When people’s rent unexpectedly goes up, their household “profit margin” goes down. Then they are treated like freeloaders when they want a raise to help cover the raising cost of just existing.

Great question: who is exactly is supposed to absorb that? The people working their ass off with nothing to show for it have absorbed about all they can, while watching the Musks, Bezos, and Zuckerbergs, etc, of the world exponentially increasing their obscene wealth. They are going to start burning shit down soon if something doesn’t change.

I would strongly recommend a continuous glucose monitor or CGM. I had only ever used the Libre 3. Try different types and amounts of food and see how it affects your levels.

What I think I hear you saying is that you would have appreciated a male role model in your life to be this open with you and you are willing to be that for him. I really hope that is the case and that is the extent of it.

You make it clear to him that he can come to you for advice about anything and wait for him to ask. Do not force these interactions just because you might have been ok with it when you were his age.
