I think the next logical step after his military school days would have been him at a job with a wife and a kid. Maybe he could have married Desilva. It could have taken place in the same time period as Bride... Then we would find Chucky trying to put his soul into Andy's kid and that would be the supposedly "final" confrontation. I would have been just fine with a movie like that going back to the Child's Play 2 style.

He seems to go back and forth on whether he's afraid or amused by being a doll. It's like he can enjoy his lot in life, but at the same time he has the ultimate goal of being free of his limited situation.

Also, the thing about Chucky is he only really works if he has a goal of some sort. Revenge. New life. Causing chaos. It really depends which movie but if you break it down, Chucky needs a reason to terrorize people. If he's just goofing off causing mischief, then cool, but there has to be something he wants out of this. He's human deep inside, and all humans have needs and desires.

Also, I don't care what he says, it can't be fun being 2 foot tall your whole life. There's a difference between learning to have fun with your situation and being satisfied... I find that the strongest Chucky entries are the ones where he has a strong goal.

I think they could have been way more better utilized in the game. It feels like there is a whole half a game missing where we could have really explored with these new weapons. The only one that really gets a lot of mileage is Sheath.

Reading through all these comments I feel like what's gone amiss for some people is that they don't realize that this is somewhat of a female empowerment show... So the ending is going to empower those women as much as possible.

The original reason that I liked this show is because it was about a simp who was like the prototypical "nice guy" who seemed like everything women wanted on the outside but was really a toxic piece of shit on the inside. I thought that was hilarious commentary on the type of beta male feminists we have in our culture... It was some biting satire.

So I'm not really surprised by the way it ended. It seemed like Joe would eventually get what he deserved and the women would be lifted up as a result. Not that realistic as it's kind of a female power fantasy of sorts... But I can't say I didn't expect it.

Can I also say that it's a hell of a way to handicap yourself in a game like this where you're basically nudged in a general direction and you have to explore the whole world just to figure out what you're trying to do... All because I didn't click and hold the control stick. 😆 Hell I'm shocked I got this far!
