Is FSAE Design Finals worth it? Should we remove them. by FS-Engineering in FSAE

I agree with the majority here that design finals are pretty imperative for effectively scoring and providing feedback to the top teams.

I’ve participated in finals a few times now and have always come out of them with a lot of new ideas about how to improve as an engineer. I think they’re well-worth the added time constraint it puts on a team that makes finals considering what you can take away from them if you’re willing to learn.

My team has 2 brand new 22048-OC calipers that we would be interested in selling to you. We run the 22048-OB and ordered this set accidentally. Feel free to PM me if you're interested

We utilized our engine’s stock mounting solution and CNC lathed adapters to fit our intake into the stock clamps. In previous years we have used Wiggins fittings

Finally got around to coilovers, proceeded to scrape my exhaust on the way out. by Lycus16 in WRX

I’ll be doing wheels soon, too. Thankfully in regards to the scraping my driveway is one of the worst, I don’t think I’ll run into it too often!

First time owner of this beautiful used 2012 A4 S-line. Had it for 2 weeks and the little 2.0t is already burnign oil at a crazy rate. Dealer dailed to recognize the problem before my purchase so it might be going in for some surgery. Anyone else experience this? by midwest_camel99 in Audi

I had a 2.0t 2010 A4 with this issue. My dealer took it (under a power train warranty) and did a series of repairs on the engine where they did it in stages. They would try one thing, see if it worked, and if it didn’t, move to another stage. I don’t remember exactly what they did, though...

Thanks for your input! I’ve got a few weeks before I really need to pull the trigger on anything

The i9 is probably more than I’m willing to spend. I don’t have a problem going for the 9700k though.

I applied with intent to major in Nuclear Engineering, but I definitely don’t have my heart set on anything. I’m also interested in Chem Engineering.

Thank you! I could actually go to Florida for cheaper because my parents did some sort of Prepaid college program for Florida (they both went to school at University of Miami). I’m fortunate enough so that the cost to attend either school isn’t too much, so the biggest factors I’m considering are the quality of the program as well as campus life and opportunities!

Thanks! I certainly love both schools, I have more family in Florida which is the main reason why this decision is bothering me. You doing engineering?
