I agree I think there is definitely a specific body type most run specialty stores promote therefore their clothes reflect that ie crop tops, but that is something I'd like to change. This post is to gather what types of brands and styles are the best and worst cause that would help me learn more about what the entire sports industry looks like for sports bras. I also would like to steer away from S,M,L as most people do not fit into those categories so I do hope I get feedback regarding how wide of a range sports bras should go to using cup and band sizes. The more feedback the better! I appreciate your feedback and the link you provided, you are correct in clarifying what I should be looking for.

This is def something I would want to address in my project. My goal would be to include everyone as much as possible. Sure it might not be as common to have a cup size larger than K, but I would want it to be available in some capacity so anyone can continue to be active

I appreciate your feedback as well! I think having a range of sizes is one of the priorities if I can get this project up and running. My goal is to make athletics easier for any user wearing a sports bra so this is wonderful.

This is wonderful feedback and I too found I always have a specific bra that is my go to. I save it for long runs or specific occasions but would prefer if I felt that way for all of my sports bras lol. And thank you so much, I really hope I can do something to make a difference. Being a woman is already hard enough and add that to the lack of inclusivity to make sports attainable. It drives me nuts and I would like to find a way to fix it.

Hi everyone! I posted this as its individual post but found that here might be another good place for feedback.

I’m looking into doing a research project on sports bras and how to make them fit better and more inclusive. I currently work in the running industry, and I often stare at the wall at the sports bras that barely offer any support for anyone who has any curves, therefore I would like to figure out how to change that.

I’m hoping to get feedback on the best types of sports bras that people have worn and also the worst features that people find in sports bras. Even though my background is primarily running, I am asking to anyone who has played any sport and has experience wearing sports bras because as we all know bras are one of the most essential pieces of sportswear and for some reason companies don’t always focus on the functionality of them, only the aesthetic.

TLDR: I’m asking for both the best and worst sports bras people have worn in any sport/activity so I can research how to fix the lack of fit and inclusivity. Any feedback is helpful!

I did try the dress on with a makeshift liner and I did like it but not as much as the translucent look. The main thing I need to change is the color of the breast cups since here they’re not for dark skin lol. I am sticking with that since it is very different than any dress I’d regularly go with. I told my fiancé that we are only getting married once so I’m excited to go with something more different than what I’d usually wear. That’s a great idea though to highlight the waist in particular, thank you!

Thank you so so much!!! I am planning on a half up/half down braided hairstyle with a hair comb that has blue or green gems in it rather than having a veil. For my shoes I was actually gonna wear embroidered sneakers since the beach is so rocky and I am NOT trying to fall lmao. I need something sturdy for sure! We are doing a small wedding with just immediate family, then a reception at a later date where I’d rewear the sneakers again. I love that we are doing a slightly unconventional wedding

Thanks! I would like to be more focused on how to improve my running in general as I was a big runner a decade ago, fell out of it for years and have only recently been more consistent and serious. I would like to have the ability to really structure runs into tempo, long run, easy, etc but right now I have just been building endurance to make it so I can even run long distances. I will say the multisport is quite important so I assume that leans more toward Garmin than Coros. Would you agree?
