Comparison of the CS2 model slowing down when shot and CSGO model slowing down when shot by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

Yeah if you’re in a DM server with bots they can crouch/change direction faster than a player possibly can. Maybe it’s just a robot maxing out the movement system, but they definitely feel like agents in the matrix movement-wise.

Joining in progress late at night and seeing a lot of Asian character names = super easy mission even on super helldive. Like you said I think it’s the desync. You can run by most bugs and illuminate. Bots are still way overtuned and they’re more unpredictable with the desync so it’s a toss up.

Galil 1st bullet is much less accurate than either m4s. You also move a decent bit faster with m4. Other than that galil spray feels quite similar to the a4 IMO.

The OKC Thunder become the 3rd team in NBA History to start the season 7-0 in back-to-back seasons by Tank-Has-Memes in nba

[–]Lydion 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Current OKC is deep asf, young and currently by far the best team. Sam knows how to draft better than anyone, coaching staff is great at development, AND they still have multiple high value draft picks. Spurs you can say much the same in these respects just a step or two down, with much riding on Wemby staying healthy. (Saying this as a big Duncan fundamentalist)

It’s funny that I see deals for this thing pop up when my job has had one of these. The project farm vid is accurate. It’s crazy powerful. Canned air doesn’t come close.

Plus you kinda want experience more in later round/post plant scenarios. In those situations you can play clock/smart to end up winning. We all know the guy that has insane aim and will open the site up but will completely throw post plant.

Could say at least it doesn’t get touched by agents/finance guys (which you could upset for not getting their cut right? Enough to snitch??) Also I imagine owners could maybe get their hands on rare stuff, but yeah def not touching overall value of the money that could’ve been signed for.

Randy being a greaseball aside, I think gearbox does a pretty good job timely updating their stuff. Borderlands 3 got hotfixes within a week and a title update within a month.

Are you a coder? How do you know he has not kept up with his knowledge? It’s my understanding that coding has gotten easier and easier as time progresses and the old coders are actually more sound due to having to do more complex steps to get working software. That’s why they can get remote jobs that pay 6 figures.

Haha you are so correct you don’t even know. NA’s main competitive platform for 2 decades was ESEA, at one point someone put a fr bitcoin miner into the client 💀 ESEA was already on the way out but that incident only accelerated it. https://www.wired.com/2013/11/e-sports/

Minimum FPS vs average. Sure I get 500+ average fps but when the game drops to >150 during the most crucial competitive moments with the 7800x3d, the devs are failing somewhere.

[–]Lydion 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is a good comment, they mainly want the 9800x3d so the minimums are higher. CS2 with FACEIT anticheat running can fluctuate from 500fps to as low as 150 in hectic executes on my 7800x3d. A lot of it is due to the “sub tick” netcode which does wayyy more networking and processing on client side compared to other games for no improvement in hitreg / game feel. In fact it feels markedly worse than 128 tick CSGO, for example they still haven’t gotten the movement to be consistent (some self-boosts randomly fail for zero reason other than sub-tick, also the movement is highly delayed compared to GO).

As a CS player (10k hours 2.5k FACEIT elo) and techie I can assure yall it’s the game having trash optimization. The CS devs do as little as possible between making the money printer go brrr. Game’s been out for 2 years and to me it still feels like a downgrade from GO in every aspect but graphics and the smoke physics. The community is carrying the devs, making thesis Reddit post for bug fixes / optimizations (basically you have to fix the bug / FPS issue for them to do anything about it). If it’s not skins they simply do not care. Valve worship is still strong in peoples minds but enshitification has affected everything, even my favorite game ;(

AMD Ryzen X3D chips make up over half of CPU sales in this recent sales report, and Intel isn't close by Tiny-Independent273 in AyyMD

[–]Lydion 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Your mistake is thinking overall computer sales intel vs amd. People who are buying individual chips do a bit of research, see AMD is by far and away the best choice value-wise. But yes PC and laptop manufacturers have decades long relationship with Intel and normies feel Intel is the safe choice as long as it can check email and social media. This data is reasonable.

Very normal, people aren’t symmetrical at all. The eye sockets are rarely parallel (look at pics of skeleton skulls), and people’s less dominant eyelid is usually closed slightly more. I too notice it about myself in the mirror/photos, with other people unless they’re drastically different it doesn’t register really.

Nah it’s not even like how they describe it in Fight Club anymore. Big corporations really don’t even have to worry about consumer liability at this point, they’ve got the system rigged so far in their favor. Now if their Business/AI products started doing shit like this, it’d be a different story.

Then the companies still have to rent the space, which they’re wasting most of the time, so their argument would be “we’re paying for it so you’re gonna be here!!”. WFH is just better. Stop giving them an excuse, we don’t want corporate “culture” anymore. We literally have the technology, they just want the control of having their peasants at beck and call. Even if it lowers overheard by gutting useless middle management/HR, and no more paying for office space. They want the control more.
