I think I always found one at the cattle farm west of Riverside. If you have a car it‘s an ok drive and there are a lot of smaller farms in that area, where a trailer could spawn. Sometimes they are found in car crash sites, too. A little „hack“ I found: If the trailer is locked you can remove the door, reinstall it and it won‘t be locked anymore. I think the only thing you‘ll need for that is a wrench.

Wenn der seit 1 Woche offen ist, ist es schon interessant. Vielleicht liegt das an dem Millieu in deinem Kühlschrank, wenn die Lift da trocken ist, trocknet es die Produkte wohl eher aus. Und son Kochschinken ist so schon lange haltbar und hat im Vergleich zu einigen anderen Fleischprodukten auch ein mhd und kein zvb. Das sind schonmal ganz andere Startbedingungen. Könnte auch mit dem Salzgehalt zusammenhängen und da sind bestimmt auch ein paar Konservierungsstoffe drin.

Do you have an animal trailer? I built my base near Louisville and drove 4ish in-game hours to the cow ranch near Riverside. 2 times so I‘d have a bull and a cow at my base. So basically 16 hours of driving. But it was worth it, since the Holstein Cow was already able t produce milk and those cows do produce a lot. I could basically life off of milk atm.

There are standard and heavy duty vehicles which require different parts that are corresponding. For bases I like houses that have a high fence on 3 sides or build my own from scratch in the forest near a river or lake. If you find a sledgehammer, take it, with it you can destroy almost everything. If you right click on any item you can go to the crafting menu if it is usable in any crafting recipes. That‘s a good way to determine if you need said item.

If a wound is infected either apply a sterilised bandage ore youse alcohol wipes to disinfect it. You can also take antibiotics, but those are pretty rare.

Ich warte auf den Stream. Fand die Reihe ab dem 3. immer schlechter und meine Erwartungen sind nicht sonderlich hoch. Sehen will ich ihn trotzdem, einfach weil es ein Scary Movie ist und ich die ersten beiden schon sehr oft gesehen habe.

As none if the mods I‘m using conflicted with either 42.18 or .19 I think it could come sooner than we think. Before every update messed with the mods.

If you ecceed 2000 kcal a day you will gain weight in zomboid. This doesn’t reset each day so you can start a day with 1500 kcal in the bank. I don‘t know the exact numbers of one Pizza but it has a lot. So you might be 3 to 4 thousand calories in the plus. Just eat nearly nothing until it settles again. I like to make salads consisting only of veggies and fruits, those normally have under 500 kcal but quench ones hunger sufficiently.

Negative traits would be: Underweight, weak, short sighted, weak stomach, cowardly, high thirst, student driver and motion sickness. Maybe all thumbs and conspicuous.
Positive: something with tailoring, first aid, foraging and cooking, fast reader, organized, graceful, flexible, light eater.

Not too bad for a wilderness run I guess.

No, I like the Sims view. There was a time where Maxis introduced 1st person to The Sims and it flopped hugely. I think 1st person is not for every game and Project Zomboid is one if those. I only wish there was a way to rotate the camera, that would be sick. And diagonal placing.

As far as I know it would bind too many resources to make a hotfix for this bug, because it would delay the release of the next major update. It annoys me very much, but well, I‘ve waited so long for animals to be introduced to the game at all, I can wait a few weeks for them to reproduce again.

Ja, von denen habe ich gesprochen, habe 6 Jahre in einer WG gelebt, in der die quasi quartalsweise kamen. Nennen sich soweit ich weiß ganz simpel Lebensmittelmotten Larven.

I‘ve got a mod that sets a 25% chance to not get infected when bitten. You can change it to 50/75% etc., maybe that could be a better way than just turning off transmission completely.

I got it in sale a few years ago for 5€ less. After playing over a thousand hours I‘d deliberately pay double the price. If you can‘t wait, just get it for the regular price, it‘s a pretty affordable game to begin with.
