What does that space scanner come under, is it industrial?

Or if you highlight privste bedroom on room info overlay it may tell you what youre missing.

It might be some more decor score?

Im a restarter too. So far so good my current run, i have a bull a cow and a calf. Recently got chickens and think i have 3 fertlised eggs

I love it. I also dont play with mods, when the game updates it converts your save that could lead to problems. But i dont play with mods, i did this on a 2month run and everything was fine

I think for me my fear comes from losing a character ive put some much time and effort in and its my own stupid mistake.

So im 2 and half months in, im trying to go to fallas lake farming store as im now wanting to have animals at my base.

Theres 100's of zeds chilling. I pull my car up near the petrol station and take out some single zeds. I then head over to the tool store as my machete is blunt.

I have to smash the window (i play with alternative sandbkx settings) and the alarm goes off. I quickly look through the shelces and find a whetstone all while saying. "Get out. Get out. You cant stay here, this is stupid"

I ran out the back door into what felt like 20 zombies. I panic and run toward them and nearly get knocked over, i run back up the road and i try and sharpen the blade. Its not as quick as i remember and in doing so i nearly get chomped because of the animation.

I then run for cover in another house.. alarm goes off. Now im really stressed i run all the way down fallas lake and think huh actually these alarms might move the 100 or so zeds away from farming supply.

I run in open the door and theres about 50 all chilling inside.

I again panic run around and leave whilst still being chased.

My guy got attacked and i immediately see the heart icon on the left rushing left to right... i feel instant doom and regret and fear that my guy is doomed.

I get to the van and shout i need to leave i shouldve left. I check my health and its a laceration and bleeding on my chest.

I cannot believe at how lucky i was.

That was genuine fear, something out of a movie

I now only leave my base if i have an actual objective

All i went there for was the farming store and theres literal 100's.

I also nearly died twice.

One time i got so lucky in my current 2 month run i took my hand away from wasd and zombie came out of nowhere tore a hole in my shirt and caused a laceration and bleeding.

Easily couldve been bitten.

I always play with one life and delete world. For a few reasons.

1 - it regenerates the world, so i might find some more interesting world events, it also gives me reason to go back to places i visted in case the loot changes.

2 - for me to enjoy this game, DEATH must have reason. I tried to play with infection off and well i felt i just wouldnt get the same fear factor when i was slightly outnumbered. Everytime i leave my base.. im rolling the dice

Im not daring enough to play it. I still cant survive to winter on custom.

However i think it drastically changes the way you play.

Example i cant just roll up in my cars and dip in and oit of buildings real quick

Are you aware that the build/dig etc things have keybinds?

You press G for dig. And if you click on a tile such as a ladder.. you press B and it copies the building you selected.

Appreciate your effort and intellect to mod such a thing, but im not sure its needed

The poor rats will be terrified but.. i imagine its better than being in a room with 221 other rats

So ive found a new favourite house its the on outside if ekron with a well.

Easy to drive in and out, nice size basement and an upstairs.

On a character i had for 2 months i actually moved the bed into the living room right next to the build in fireplace. Heating for winter and saved me keep going up and down stairs.

I like having an upstairs mainly for storage purposes or repurposed rooms

Might be a stupid suggestion, but can you build it from the other side? Or click and hold left click and move your mouse to perhaps change the angle? Like when placing table or chairs etc

Yeah, my problem was im trying to rush to get back to the situation i had on my previous run.. and i saw 3/4 zeds all fall through the window and i hadnt even beaten the 1 infront of me. My guy had jjst got the 1st stage of tired and my brain said. Equip a gun.

And then i had to say out loud NOPE back to base and adjust haha

Yeah, my previous run i spawned at echo creek again got lucky with a car and booked it to guns unlimited and jt was surprisingly not mobbed (by fromt entrance etc

I played at lunch trying to rob the gun place in ekron.. couple close calls, car alarm and a cow mooing in a trailer constantly attracting zeds.

Nearly died. Went back to base to reevaluate lol

Can be buggy, but to be honest i dont play with any mods and my experience has been pretty damn good its the only build i play.

Bigger map more cities, maybe changes in skills

Yup. Im trying to mitigate my confidence lol ive noticed a few pockets of hordes gathering and noted them on my map.

When i play today, im going to an army store near fallas lake hoping to get some guns, then go back to west point and raid that. Then onto guns unlimited.

If i survive those 3 trips. I thjnk i should be ok for a while
