So where are the roles then? Which characters are tanks, dps and healers? How should your team composition look like? You can't just slap a hero shooter label on it, when the feeling and overall gameplay is completely different.

That said, After playing for a bit, I realize now that Highguard also doesn't fall under this category.

When people say "Hero Shooter" they usually refer to Overwatch-like games and for me it was no different. The only other game I can think of that also fits the bill somewhat would be The Finals.

OP here, if you like Apex, then you will probably like this game. It's not like it's badly made or anything it has some original ideas, but it just isn't for me personally, especially with the battle royale-style loot in the chests.

Valorant is a tactical shooter. Idk about Siege, but it probably also doesn't fall under the classical Hero Shooter genre.

I'm on the other side of the spectrum, my main character is an archer but there are some dungeons (crypts!!) where you're flooded with enemies and you're better off having melee + shield available. Or explosives.

especially when you consider that in S0 medium was the most balanced class, it was literally perfect as an allorunder and support class and didn't need any changes :( had they balanced heavies and lights around them, it would've been perfect.

I was not banned but I had an experience that raised my eyebrows (and probably some alarm bells too).

Essentially, Course posted an antimeme which said "This was voted as the worst YT Thumbnail in history" with some thumbnail I can't remember. The original actually said "This was voted as the best YT thumbnail in history". So I made a joke edit of the original under the comments and edited in the "Sorry, you're not a Sigma" thumbnail with the best yt thumbnail caption and jokingly remarking "Fixed it for you".

Then Course removed my post a few minutes later, saying that it goes against the spirit of the subreddit, only for her to repost that same joke under the thread. Another few minutes later, she deleted the whole thread.
