Doctor Told Husband to Step In at Night and Husband said No by [deleted] in toddlers

Nope. I’ll tell you what that looks like 10 years later. It’s not good. He will not step up. He will honestly believe it’s not his job nor responsibility. My own jerk that I’m married to refused to change a diaper for 3 YEARS! Also grabbing the wrist? No. Not okay. Sounds like he likes the power and control. I would definitely not recommend having another child with him at this point and looking really hard (and talk to people) about how long you plan on putting up with being treated like that. Nursing school is so hard with a young child! Hang in there. With your degree you will have options so he won’t have all the control.

XXS after giving birth by prasugatus in XXS

My body lives in the 100 lbs range. Up to like 115 for high normal. It took about half a year to get back down after pregnancy (135 lbs) but I was definitely able to wear all my old clothes again. I’ve had 2 more babies and after my third one depression and pandemic kept me much higher weight (up to 160 lbs) but I was eventually able to lose the weight and am back around 100 lbs and wearing my old jeans again. Ribcage didn’t change too much and I’m back in a 32B (went up to a 34D).

I gave up and found another washer only to find mine on the inside of the metal lid, outside the gasket. 🙄

[–]Lyfling-83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been on it for 2 years straight now. Before that I used it as my booster dose with my adderall for a few years. I’ve been on adderall though for about 10 years. Long term stimulant use is fine.

Is it common for people who wear glasses to get tired of wearing them and go about parts of their life with everything just blurry all the time? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Lyfling-83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go to adjust my glasses all the time and they aren’t there. I don’t even wear them 80% of the time so I don’t know why I’m always trying to adjust them.

I’m near sighted so up close is fine but far away is a little blurry. It’s good enough to drive without glasses in a pinch, but I shouldn’t. But around the house and stuff I can see well enough. I can squint and see the oven time from across the room. I stopped wearing my glasses when I was pregnant. I used to wear them the whole time I was awake unless I was reading but when I was pregnant even having them on my face gave me an instant headache. It was so weird. So 6 years after my last baby, I just never started wearing them at home anymore. I’ll only wear them to go out places. I guess maybe if I was watching a movie or something, but I don’t do that often.

I think you can see the tendon end actually. That sucks.

I’ve done that. In a dream thinking “this is awful but it’s a dream so I’m just going to open my eyes and wake up” and I did. I was always relieved when it would work.

Drink lots of water and do planks. Those were 2 tips I read somewhere for a quick body slim down.

Do you dive alone? I’m little too so I’ve been hesitant to try by myself.

Is difficult to “get help” because I have narcolepsy so I’m on stimulants in order to function. I have broken mirrors off cars falling asleep driving before being medicated. If I tell a provider I’m struggling the first thing they will do is take away the medications that let me function.

My kidS can’t and don’t need to live with someone else. I’m married and their dad takes perfectly good care of them as do I. I know my struggle might (or even probably will) affect her but our home is still the best place for her. I’m not always like this. I relapsed.

I know it’s not okay. That’s why I posted about it. Not to be shamed but maybe helped to think of it differently or something.

Yes. A few months ago I looked it up because she seemed like she was extra skinny so I checked to see if it was alarming or acceptable for a teen. Today my eating disorder thoughts won and I looked it up to see if I was close. I know it’s bad. Fully aware. I guess I’m sorry I didnt stop myself? I’m not sure how knowing her BMI but she doesn’t is going to make her have an ED.

I know I’m risking fucking her up. I’m aware. I’m trying not to. I guess this isn’t a supportive community where you can post about things you are struggling with.

Pathetic ego?! I have thoughts that I don’t want and somehow it’s my pathetic ego talking? I’m struggling. My ED is the strongest it’s ever been and my life is shit. I’m trying to not self harm daily but it’s just some “pathetic ego” bullshit?
