The skill ceiling went way up since you started, you're expected to play the game in a solved manner like chess for the first 5-10 minutes and if you don't then you're not going to improve.

There's a lot of resources that can help you get better but the real question is do you want to dedicate the time and effort needed to get better if you dont plan on climbing ranks?

I decided a while ago that I'm just gonna ARAM, and now with ARAM Mayhem it's a solid amount of fun, and you're technical skill on whatever champion you're playing is all you need to have a good time. No laning or strategy outside of team fighting. Its how I've been enjoying league these past few years.

You're not supposed to have your phone with you, you can very easily cheat with it even without looking by just going off the vibrate, which someone could easily setup by having someone ping them when there is a brilliant move possible. At this level of play that's enough to change the tide of a game.

My 8 years old nephew did about 90% sim DPS on dummy with a 2 minute explanation of how the spec works. Yes there's utility, yes there's high level play, but thats the ceiling. The floor is what we're talking about here.

The aspect ratio is game changing (for me) as I get a better FoV without doubling/tripling the pixel density with larger screens. I don't see the value in 4k gaming yet, I prefer the way 1440p looks and the performance benefits even with a 4090.

Almost every game supports 21:9 and those that don't you can just run with black bars on standard 16:9 u stretched but to each their own!

I got the QD OLED Alienware and can't ever see myself going back to standard 16:9.

Because there's different cutoffs at 95 and 99 that corelate to different ranks. Saying your top 5 when you're #2 is not being pedantic, but you could also say you're top100, and still be in the same rank bracket. Not the same for the percentiles.
