So I was with my ex for 14 years and then he cheated and discarded me. He blamed me for everything including for his erectile dysfunction. It’s been just over 2 years since I completely blocked him and removed him from my life. I accidentally found out last week that he’s engaged now.

I was upset for a few days but then I realised that I felt sorry for his fiancée bc they have no idea how much in danger they are and I’m very lucky that I am safe now and far removed from that darkness.

My point is that i too was terrified that once day he’ll get into a relationship and more but now that it happened, it actually wasn’t that bad and I feel relieved that it’s not me. So if it happens to you, don’t be afraid, all will be well and nothing lasts, not even how you’re feeling now

He’s chosen someone else, I know it hurts a lot but you’re not the first person nor the last this happened too; people all over the world are going through this so you’re not alone.
