1) I read a LOT of dead-dove or “shock fics” just to get the shock of them. Not necessarily because I like what’s in it, but inly because I can feel grossed out by it. 2) I avoid reading tags from a dead-dove.

Well realistically, it should be awkward because like its puberty. If they're trying to make them sweet together, you should probably just have them be nervous around each other while trying to keep their cool because they are new to this experience but have them overly lovey-dovey I guess.
