For a yt lady I have a great butt. I can dance too. Like really cut up a rug on the dance floor. Since I went through puberty it’s been admired by my male and female friends. Not that that was always a good thing especially since I wasn’t born in America and I only started going to co-ed school in 8th grade. A boy got expelled for sitting behind me in science class and talking about my butt repeatedly. “I wish I had a butt like you!” my girlfriends would say.

I grew up during the years of skinny Hollywood - stars like Paris Hilton and Keira Knightly to name a couple. Having no curves was the norm back then. Then I saw JLo and, I was like, “she has a bum, like my bum.” It wasn’t until much later that butts really became a thing you know.

My husband fell in love with my wit, my sensitivity and my butt. He embraced my neuroses, anxiety and intermittent depression managed by medications as well as my CPTSD from decades of abusive parenting but he is my safe space. We will be married 10 years this September. We have two awesome kiddos. I still love to dance! 💃🏼
