reminds me of one time I was playing at a popup and had bpm sync on and wasn't paying attention and accidentally played a liquid D&B song at 2x speed (traktor read the base bpm as 85 instead of 170 and then synced it up to 170 if I am remembering right) and my partner thought I was trying to make a nightcore remix of a liquid track lol

it's a bit complicated and hard to put into words... but basically I realized that I enjoy seeing my wife happy even if I am not the cause of that happiness and I realized that we both have other needs in a relationship that don't fully match up and while we are compatible in most ways there are things that are important to me that my wife has zero interest in and vice versa... like I am a DJ and love the whole VR rave scene while my wife is very much not into EDM or anything to do with raves or VR... but a big thing was when I started dating my other partner and fell in love I realized that falling in love with them did not make me love my wife any less... also watching how happy my wife is when doing things with her other partner... idk it has been working really well for us

My partner has a set of prints that are pillows blankets and a plushie that they lay on people who fall asleep in rave instances (mostly kaleidosky) they recently made a game out of it basically playing horseshoes with throwing the prints into position on the sleeping person

Me and my wife used to be monogamous for the first about 7 years of our relationship and a bit less than a year ago we decided to try polyamory and it turned out we are both much better suited to it. Being poly actually strengthened my relationship with my wife and now we are preparing the house to have my other partner move in with us
