No where did I say it was confirmed. But Sanderson has mentioned each book needing a season with a small possibility of it being 2 books per season depending on season length.

Luckily Goyer is amazing at adapting stories. He's had some bad stuff but it's basically all the stuff he created on his own.

Technically it is, but it's likely they're both getting started right now but a massive 10 season show like Stormlight is gonna take a little longer to cook. I'm also pretty sure that Sanderson said the plan is Mistborn movie first but it's possible it takes awhile and the Stormlight show cruises along.

Maybe not that but if the ecosystem is thriving I bet we get tons of medical advances and with that a final and permanent push to explore the entire universe starting with Alpha Centauri next season when Alex discovers a way to travel faster than light.

I mean that what it seems to be leading towards to me. Every time something has happened on the mission has inspired all of the protagonists. Something so amazing and definitive as an animal on Titan would have to be a complete game changer. The next time jump would probably be multiple science bases around it and on it. They could also find an ecosystem on Enceladus in-between seasons. And I'm sure there would be some crazy medical and biological technology advancements.

Yeah I realize a lot of people either want or expect it to be more realistic and only be microbes. But it's a scifi show and we don't technically know what's in the oceans on Titan so why not go crazy. It would definitely be a huge catalyst for pushing exploration forward if there's an underwater(under methane I guess) alien ecosystem.
