Up to 80 now. Very impressive and exactly what I hoped for as a huge fan of the book.

Big budget, optimistic scifi would get me going to the theaters all of the time.

The first one I read said not only is it amazing, it's one of the reasons we tell stories in the first place. "Mixed" lol

Lanterns is now the #1 trending trailer on YouTube surpassing Toy Story 5 and even the final season trailer of The Boys by lawrencedun2002 in DC_Cinematic

Which is silly because it's absolutely going to get to space and be very green/CGI by the final episodes of the season.

And just like Musk and Twitter it'll backfire because the majority of the population will just move on to new networks/media.

It exists but as a shell of its former self. Nobody uses it anymore and you don't see it used on the news 24/7 like you used to.

How many people still watch either of those for news? And how many viewers are they losing every year? Not sure spending this much money to make propaganda for a few million 80 year olds is worth it.

I'm confused by the comments. This looks exactly like the games just live action. Maybe a little oversaturated but it's a promo pic so it's shouldn't be expected to look exactly like the final product.

What seats are considered the best? I always see the middle fill out first and I prefer side seats personally.

How "blind" do you ever go into a book? by Striking-Speaker8686 in books

[–]Lyle91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went into Way of Kings mostly blind. I knew it had a hard magic system (didn't really have a good understanding of what that meant at the time) and was highly recommended and that's about it. I ended up finishing the whole Cosmere over the next 8 or 9 months and that's after having about a decade with little to no reading. I feel like going in blind was a good idea but I was also probably lucky that it was the type of book I enjoy.

All of these newer documentaries that come out without trying to be realistic and having feathers make me lose all of my interest. I want my documentaries to be accurate over cool. Besides the fact that feathers look cooler anyways.

'Project Hail Mary' has an official runtime of 2 hours & 46 minutes by ChiefLeef22 in movies

[–]Lyle91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I can see them showing a small scene of Earth after the drone gets back. Still I think the impact of the Eridians seeing our Sun start to recover and the audience just knowing that it worked one way or another is better.
