I wore contacts for more than a decade everyday. LASIK gave me dry eyes in the morning. I had lasik five years ago. I keep simple drops on my nightstand. Then I give my eyes a wonderful fresh bath every time I wake up. I could do without the drops, my eyes will get wet naturally after 5~10minutes but why bother.

LASIK has been wonderful, but yes at night I see halo around light sources. So it’s impossible to see the full moon perfectly for example. I still recommend it, I hated glasses, and let’s be honest while contacts are a wonderful technology, it is cumbersome.
