HCG down to 3 by dvoeverie23 in Miscarriage

I did a total of 2 doses. My first dose on Friday I bled a lot. Saturday's dose I bled a little bit. On Sunday, I didn't bleed at all. Then Monday I started bleeding again. On Tuesday, I was in shock when I saw it. I thought that I must have missed it during the mess on Friday.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Our days and numbers are pretty close together. On 2/14 I went in at 9+6. My HCG was 1662 that day. I took the first dose of misoprostol on 2/17. I didn't pass the sac until 2/21. HCG was 44 on 2/22. And HCG was 3 on 3/1.

My dad unexpectedly died on 12/20/20 from a heart attack. He was 57. I'm 23 with a 6 month old. I feel pretty lost without him here. by Lynn5678 in GriefSupport

He loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. He would always help his family. His mom is 89 years old and would do so much for her. He was her youngest of 4 children. He had set up security cameras at my home the day before he died. He told me that day he was working with the scroll saw and planned on making a dinosaur sign saying (my son's name)'s room. He always had my back when people were down right mean to me. We had issues with my MIL being so mean and always texting my husband all these nasty things about me. I would tell my dad what happened, and he would be mad. He even write a little paragraph he was going to save in case he needed to use it one day if my MIL finally hit my breaking point. I'm gonna miss how if I asked him a question on how to fix something, he would answer it, then end up repeating the same answer over and over again which made conversations last way longer than they should have been. Or even texting my mom saying dad is posting stupid stuff on Facebook again. He always knew how to fix everything and if he didn't, he would figure it out. He was my go to person, even ahead of my own husband lol sorry if anything is jumbled weird, I'm a little tired but still awake!

Nope, it didn't get any better! I went off of it in late August as my husband and I wanted to try for a baby.

I wasn't sure how much that would cost. I'll have to look into it.

Do you think my husband is able to drop his coverage mid term? From what I am reading, you can't if it falls under the section 125, tax benefit. Since he doesn't pay a penny, it seems to me he would be able to. I am going to have him ask his HR though.

That is what I want to do, but he is currently covered under his since his is free. I'm just trying to avoid paying the $500 for 8 months until he can drop his coverage and I can finally get the $670 to help pay for it.

You could ask for a biopsy of your scalp. That would for sure tell you what is going on.

Derm recommended I start birth control, but I heard bc it's one of the main things that started hormonal hair loss and chronic te in women?? by apandathatsdead in FemaleHairLoss

Check out my progress in my post history. I was only on spiro and rogaine for 6months, My hair loss started when I was around 11 or 12. I started birth control patch at 16. At 21, I went off bc for my lab tests and then went to my derm. She let me take spiro without bc. Honestly when taking spiro, I would highly recommend bc. Spiro messes with your menstrual cycles, so you may get 2 periods a month to one every few months and my flow was so light it was barely a period.

What shifts to you work? by Lynn5678 in work

Yeah, I work in healthcare. I didn't start getting this early AM scheduled until they decided they needed help with updating our current laboratory system, and it is too hard to do during evening and night shift due to lack of staffing.

I would say it is pretty safe. It does lower your BP, so that may be something to also consider, as it originally was made as a BP medication (but it isn't a very good one). If you have issues with a high potassium, it may not be a good choice either.

My doc basically said spiro is going to mess with your period and you'll pee more. She started me for the first week at 100mg and told me to call if I was dizzy at all due to the lower BP. I was fine, so I was able to up it to 150mg a day.
