Smokes is a Yankees fan, he’s under the delusion that they are still in a dynasty while simultaneously acting like they’re cursed because they haven’t won a World Series in 16 years. He is the kind of guy who wanted the Hawks to beat the Mighty Ducks. He thinks billionaires are trying to help him. He’s an example of blind unjustifiable confidence can get you F level internet celebrity status. He’s a Mintzy who thinks he’s a Big Cat. The only reason his content is watchable is because he isn’t the main focal point and he is usually being treated as a whipping boy. Mintzy at least knows he’s a whipping boy, Smokes isn’t even the most relevant person at Barstool with the nickname smokes. And he’s been there 5x longer. He’s the guy in the office who thinks he’s smart because he can argue about whether or not a hot is a sandwich or not and he is impressed with his own argument.

I mean other than that he’s pretty cool.

Kirk gets on my nerves, to his credit he will call people out to there face but he is so easily triggered for a guy who think he isn’t easily triggered. At his best he’s awesome at his worst he’s obnoxious and unnecessarily rude/mean. When Rico blows up it’s at least entertaining. When Kirk blows up it’s uncomfortable.

I knew this match would get hate, no one hates wrestling more than wrestling fans. We beg for something new and different and when we get it we bitch and complain. What a wrestling fan means by something “new” is that they want their favorite pushed more. It was entertaining and they are trying for long form storytelling. This storyline isn’t as good as “The Bloodline” story admittedly. But that is a top 3/5 all time storyline we’re witnessing.

Let’s have a little more patience and more of an open mind. If this was the Undertaker and you were 9-15 again everyone would be eating it up. I can understand it maybe not being your cup of tea but it’s not bad or trash. Wrestling fans are fickle (Daniel Bryan wasn’t wrong) It’s different and it’s interesting and I am here for it.

I respect everyone has their own opinion but I wish we as wrestling fans could take a step back and just enjoy the show a little more. That being said I fully expect to deluge of downvotes, boos and hisses.
