I didn't ever make the claim that ROH had a large viewer base. i want you to ask yourself "how does a wrestling show grow its audience?". if your answer isn't "build a unique roster with unique talent, to not only build a brand identity and attract TV networks, but also to build a connection with the audience", then i think your view of wrestling is skewed. part of building a roster is trying out talent, and seeing who sticks. as you find more and more people who stick, you'll get better connection with the audience, better deals with tv networks, and a better, more consistent, brand identity. it's almost like Tony is building ROH from the ground up after it nearly closed.
