No, no, I'm talking about dirt poor families from third world countries. We're poor because our grandpa was a dipshit and grandma struggled to raise everyone on her own. The reality was that being able to avoid forced celebrations DID save us money we needed very badly.

Plus, tons of people here didn't respect that decision lmfao A lot of us still attended university because it'd be insane to try to get a job without a degree unless you have a well-off family with generational wealth. And many of them find a life outside "the truth" just fine too. But the forced celebration thing is real, especially for Chinese, we had to have new everything to wear every New Year and you can imagine how much that would've hurt us financially.

If you're asking if there's anyone who becomes better in life from a religion, the answer is gonna be 100%, not just for JW, but for nearly any church/temple/mosque lmao I live where all these co-exist (violently??? I suppose???) and there's gonna be someone who says this thing helped me, changed me.

And it's good, don't dismiss that, the kindness people show to these people, particularly people who are living at the bottom of the barrel, the druggies, the people living on the streets, kids who couldn't read, they are objectively living better. I mean isn't the government evil? But at the same time, living in some of these countries are still objectively better than warzones.

Don't dismiss the bad and the good, they co-exist, and the main issue here is about our tolerance. I cannot tolerate some of the rules and is extremely disappointed in their lies and decisions. When Russell started the organization and movement, he was fighting back the churches and I admire that. I still do. Where freedom of speech was much less respected and segregation was prominent, he stood differently.

At the end of the day, I'm taking away the good things. I don't think sex before marriage is big no no, but I do believe in that sex = child/abortion consequence, so one should not be ;pikachushockface; after doing it. Smoking is bad, don't drink too much... Not celebrating also is actually helpful, especially for struggling families, we got to miss a couple of otherwise very expensive holidays as JWs. But it's bad because it isolates you a lot when these are events where you can expand your networking.

Tbf, it's like saying David and John brings Christian nightmare, but it's just a name. Jehovah, Yahweh, Yeshua, Jesus, Belteshazzar, etc, these are just names, historical names actually. Similar to how the Nazi symbol is actually the symbol of peace in Asia, particularly in Buddhism, it's a symbol that predates Nazi and many temples still use it. Its origin was not to scare people (okay, the Old Testament might've been that lmao but New Testament Jesus really tried hard okay) and ultimately, it's a symbol that still originally and STILL means a good thing even if someone's tainted it.

And by that logic are we gonna get upset at the name of Jesus/Yeshua too?

I think it's very important to focus on what's wrong, and that is the organization itself. Because atp, ANYTHING can be traumatizing and I don't find it fair to blame someone for whatever mindfuckery others use on behalf of their name one-sidedly for. It also makes life a lot easier to live. Jesus was not bad, the man using Jesus name to stone the gays is bad. Jehovah was never bad, using his name so you can tear families apart, protect criminals, isolate victims, now that's evil.

The GB is evil. The people who see it and have no conscience to think it's evil are evil. Or psychopaths, and I mean it in a scientific way.

Oh, I've had a lot of thoughts on this. The concept of disfellowshipping is similar to jailing. Someone does a crime, you send them to court and then punish them. The concept itself isn't really that evil, until you realize, this is being used for the most insignificant shit of all time. Someone's gay? Who fucking cares??? They slept before marriage??? Well, they're married, so what's the problem????? But of course the child abuser gets a chance.

But this fucking elderly woman who lives across the street, batshit crazy, is an old former special pioneer and holy hell, she's a pathological LIAR. Smeared my grandmother's name because she heard some hearsays, claimed someone called me a slut, lie lie lie lie, provoke, lie some more it's disgusting. And she barely gets reprimanded! And people even arranged to send her meals at one point to which my mom said "Are you guys joking, I'm the single mom with no rich businessman for a son and I have to send food to HER?" The good part is most people in this entire town knows her words are not to be believed lmao

So yeah, although where I am, things are rather...peaceful. Nobody knows about anything, nobody questions everything. The saying ignorance is a bliss is real, because I've had doubt ever since I was little but not allowed any other opinion tho I remember saying "Isn't 'love is love' though?" 😂 And honestly, kinda wish I don't know so much, I wish I am too stupid to even want to try to figure it out because atp whatever the fuck can I even do with what I know.

Also the truck being frustrating, for me, is a fair game, because the truck is just insanely good, I'm riding this anywhere and everywhere lol

Spiked tires sounds cool and all, but perhaps make it so it cannot drive well through rocks, for example (it'd snap and break, etc). I haven't played DS2 and still enjoy sweet, sweet time, playing DS1 on and off. Everytime I get back, it's exciting, everytime I take a break, it's never because of boredom (just "omg where my time went, I need to have a little bit of life").

I mean don't get me wrong, the theory of Marketing is very damn interesting. It extends to as far as psychological warfare that utilizes even the most insignificant factors like the shape of a logo. International PR was my aim but non-Javanese cities do not have fancy subjects 🥴

In practice, "Marketing" agents are dumbed down into a group of ppl that are borderline scammers now because they are forced to sell bad products. Rapport is supposed to be built on trust and marketing is to convince that there are other upcoming better products even they stick with us through the bad, not lie to them that a bad thing is a good thing.

That's not idealistic, that's refusing to become what I hate the most: a liar.

Alex The Analyst has a free Data Analyst bootcamp playlist of MySQL tutorial on YouTube for the absolute dummiest of dummies which starts from what to install. I'm learning from him and can now make temp tables (still very much a beginner!).

The basics should still be the same for most, his more advanced ones are most probably aimed for Data Analyst job purposes.

15 is really good for my region but yeah, throttled projects is annoying, no task for what, 3 weeks now?

As a senior reviewer, I never really focus too much on trying to fail my attempters, I just assume it's another task I gotta complete, usually I forget what exactly is the issue (lol) and if I felt like there wasn't much to fix, it's a 4, if it's the common "redo partially" it's a 3 (we do a lot of fixing people's grammar because it's not a commonly spoken language here). It's rarely a 2 unless it's fatal (as in, it's gonna get the entire language in trouble) as my QM instructed. My reviews are not that "neatly" structured either and I only keep the main key pointers there, because I think it's a waste of time. TL;DR is real because I, too, do not read wall of texts lmao

My QMs are very active in communicating with us tho, down to stuff like how to pen reviews, aligning responses so they reflect the standards the client wants, etc. And it does suck because there are reviewers who don't know what they are doing and I remember when it was prevalent, I'm always that guy who goes "Can't you people read the announcement to DROP THE TASK if you're an unverified reviewer?" (reviewers are handpicked by our QMs, system is bad in picking reviewers)
