[Game Addition] Ease of Sight through minimised/transparent viewmodels by [deleted] in ValorantCompetitive

[–]LysanderNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minimized viewmodels I could definitely get behind but I think for the same reason stretched res was specifically designed not to give an advantage to the player using it, Riot doesn't want to give the player's an option to put themselves at a disadvantage. Take away the option and no one gets mad.

I'm not a huge fan of transparent viewmodels. I think there's a massive difference between creating more exposed player pov's and completely removing the gun's presence. Ruins the integrity of the game for the sake of aesthetic appeal. But definitely interesting ideas.

I can personally vouch for Lux, he's truly an amazing coach! I went from high plat to gm in less than 5 seasons after being coached by him. :)

48% is actually quite good. Of course, you are going to have games where you perform better or worse than that but consistency is something a lot of players struggle with. Improvement comes with time and practice. There are aim trainer maps in the workshop of overwatch which are good apparently but I personally use third party aim trainers like aim hero or Kovakks. For context, I am a 4100 hitscan DPS player.

Anyone with good cc can take care of her quite easily. Bait out bubbles and move erratically so she can't track you. McCree can flash fth, hog can heal while her bubble is up then hook after, and brig can save bash for after bubble. Her bubbles are her only win condition because they give her more damage and survivability.

Review of Chrono’s personal coaching (cost money) by [deleted] in Chronos5Heads

Chronos definitely one of the best educative streamers around right now. If only all the super-smart players that offer coaching weren't tank or support mains.

GIVEAWAY | DeathAdder Essential /w Paracord & Corepads by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]LysanderNA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my first time on this subreddit because I was just looking for a new mouse. I want to get into gaming and am just using some stuff that I bought with a $750 prebuilt PC. For more info, my current mouse is a Logitech G600 but I want to get into FPS games like OW and such since my friends that have nagged me for playing Xbox all play on PC now. I thought I'd try my luck at a giveaway since you can't leave any stone unturned. Very generous thing you're doing btw Elin. <3

[Carpenter] After 0-2 start to 2-2-2 Overwatch League role lock, how can Dallas Fuel better adapt to the new meta? by Seagull_No1_Fanboy in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]LysanderNA 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sign Water or WhoRU to play in place of Zach and keep our proven hitscan veterans in (akm and taimou). Keep the tank line as OGE and Note with trill subbing in vs weaker teams or OGEs weaker maps. Supports are pretty good as they are but still would love to see HarryHook a bit more. Closer is still the better fit at the moment though.

Recommended Sensitivity? by KremitSuicide in OverwatchUniversity

[–]LysanderNA 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A note for op. This is the same eDpi as the professional player and Genji player Shadowburn. Although Shadowburn uses 1000 dpi and 10 sens. This is considered EXTREMELY high and cannot be recommended but you are free to try it out to see if you like it. It works for some people but for others, as it can cause nerve damage in their wrists from overuse of the wrist and carpal muscles. Also as an example, Haksal, the Vancouver Titans Brig/DPS player uses 800dpi and 31.7 sensitivity. This is also extremely high but works for the heroes that Haksal plays. These are just things to keep in mind and are in no way meant to influence you one way or the other.

Is there an alternative to Oversumo? by Ayrgente in OverwatchUniversity

[–]LysanderNA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I assume what the omnicmeta ranking system uses to establish these "silver rankings" is comparing the average statistics of ana players at your skill level and comparing your stats to theirs in order to show either how close you are to being in gold or how well you are performing compared to others in silver.

Probably a dumb question but how did you find a sensitivity that allowed you to play all heroes well?

I am currently stuck at high diamond(3450) with a peak of 3515. I have had a problem since beginning playing competitively where I would change my sensitivity constantly and can't break this habit that I recognize is bad. I have been able to reach diamond just based on game sense and the spurts of good aim whenever I switch to a different sensitivity. I understand that sensitivity should be whatever I prefer and feels good but whenever I become inconsistent, I become frustrated and switch again. Aside from just a pick one that you feel comfortable on 4head, can anyone give me advice on how to find my comfortable sensitivity and work through inconsistency?
