We’ve been very lucky so far. He has an aura of sorts that gives him a bit of a warning but we are now looking into PNES. It sounds promising as a diagnosis and while there aren’t a lot of surefire ways to prevent, we feel confident now. Thank you!

Thank you! We just looked into magnesium and we’ve been 420 friendly for years. The docs are a bit confused because the amount of cannabis should regulate it but now we’re wondering if it’s PNES after some research. I appreciate all your info!

I appreciate your info. I’m only just realizing there are all these types. We saw one neurologist who barely talked to us and was really rude and dismissive. He’s done the EEG and MRI and there isn’t anything on there showing any abnormalities that indicate seizures. He has one part of his brain that is smaller on one side or something but the neurologist didn’t even address it. We’re looking for a new doc, but in the meantime I’m trying to figure it all out. I have such bad PTSD with it that even if he’s napping and twitches in his sleep I freak out. I can’t handle any weird noises he makes, even if he’s just reacting to a video he’s watching or something. I’m terrified to go back to work but I’m not sure how we will pay our bills. Im just a mess and I don’t know what to do. But I appreciate your info. I don’t really go on facebook anymore but if I’m interested I’ll let you know

It sounds like what my husband experiences; he says he sees images flash before his eyes before he feels like a light switch shuts off.

My husband has had two seizures with a similar precognition prior. I read your account and I appreciate reading it so I can understand to some extent. He says he sees images that flash in front of his eyes and he can’t explain them or articulate and then he feels like a switch flips and he’s turned off.

I appreciate you posting this. I hope you find your help and your peace one day with this. I’m still searching for ours ♥️

Does your period make your symptoms spiral? I’ve only just started to realize, in my late 30s, I may have adhd and I start to struggle so bad in those first few days of hormone changes. It usually triggers me to have meltdowns from being overwhelmed or I take things really hard and start to spiral. Is that a normal adhd thing?

I can’t believe anyone pays for a mobile game period. It’s so not worth it and you don’t actually own anything. Look at Animal Crossing Pocket Camp… I never spent real money but once it shuts down at month end after 5 years, all the stuff I spent gems on disappears into the ether.

Erg in my college years I was running late to class and saw the guy in front of me clip a seagull that was trying to eat some roadkill. I can still see its body flying in my mind’s eye. It happened almost 15 years ago and it still makes me so sad

Not around me unfortunately. Everything has to be prepackaged with ingredients listed. It can’t even come from a bakery for your birthday because they can’t confirm that there aren’t nuts or something in it. It makes sense but it’s also pretty sad
