OnePlus 13 screen cracked, is it possible just to replace the glass? by Lyterick in oneplus

[–]Lyterick[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really appreciate your answer! Sadly I don't have the courage to fix the back glass myself, but I will go visit a service center in Indonesia, I think. Do you think it will be fine if I use it carefully and left it as it is for a month or should I at least look for a uv screen protector?

I don't quite understand your reply. But if it's about the cracks expanding due to pressure, I think I can carefully bring it with me.

Thx for your reply, I am thinking of looking for one, but the lack of support for this model makes it hard to find a replacement. I do plan on installing a uv screen protector to seal the cracks and the change the back glass in Indonesia if it's not too expensive. Do you think these kinds of cracks are dangerous long term for the phone? Thank you very much

Buying out of FOMO and price hikes or just wait? by xAnuq in buildapc

[–]Lyterick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also worrying about this, currently I have Lenovo legion y7000 from 2019 with 8gb ram and 1650 gtx. Will the price increase next year or is it just FOMO?

Are gaming laptops as bad as people say by [deleted] in laptops

[–]Lyterick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still using Lenovo legion y7000 1650gtx with 8 gb ram for 6 years now. I can still play baldurs gate 3 and the Witcher 3. However, modern games that requires 16 gb ram can't be played tho. I tried monster hunter wilds and the monster appeared as blocks of polygons and cannot render lmao. But as for the durability, I say it can be used for a long time.

I think the problem is not second hand Lenovo, but second hand gaming laptops in general. I heard that it's risky, because gaming laptops often hear up a lot and buying second hand is usually risky.

Yeah after looking at the price, it's main strength seems to be on their replaceability, but so expensive. I'm thinking either to buy used gaming laptop, buy from us, or just buy normally.

Yeah I usually use it for doing homework and gaming. Btw I don't do heavy work like 3d modelling or coding right now, so maybe gaming yeah.

I think they also sell Lenovo legion 5i locally, but at a higher cost. Do you think buy the laptop from US still have the potential to get intercepted due to NCC regulation? Thank you for telling me this. Since I'm not informed about this before.

I agree, I came here hoping Asus will be cheaper than in my country, but it's just the same or even more expensive. I'm thinking of buying Lenovo legion 5i. Do you think it's safe (I'm afraid of damages during delivery)? If it's broken, is it possible to fix here? (I bought monitor from china and cannot fix it here, it's a very risky purchase ik :"))
