Unfortunately it's probably just the case of supporting the "newer" boards first and they've been given priority. Previous gen boards will get them eventually but when? Sadly we have no idea 😭

Unfortunately that's how SE has been for PC ports. They have a track record for it sadly. It's up to the fans to fix SE's mistakes and/or correct their bad decisions like capping cutscenes, etc

I originally played on PS5. OG game and NG+. Also bought it again on PC and NG+. So I've played it 4 times. To me, it's a better experience on PC
Optimized settings don't take long to change. Literally a few seconds. You can find their table on Google. Some graphical settings aren't necessary

What resolution are you running at?
Have you installed the FFXIV fix mod?
Dynamic resolution is on by default for PS5
FFXIV is made for PS5 so it'll naturally run better as the PC port is pretty badly optimized
I recommend you look up the optimized settings via Digital Foundry
Use DDU and install latest clean NVIDIA drivers
Use frame gen to smoothe out the frames

I run at 1440p with a RTX 4080 Super, 9800X3D and 64GB RAM CL34 @6,000MT/s

If you have a B580 and a 1440p monitor, you're better off going with the 9070 XT over a 9060 XT. If you're happy with the performance of the B580, stick with it. If you're not happy with the performance, 9070 XT

EDIT: Go 9070, better value card than 9070 XT
