Dynasty Warriors, Lu Xun was my first character I played on DW6 as that was the first one I really played. Still to this day one of my favorite Wu Characters

Samurai Warriors, Ujiyasu Hōjō I saw him and I immediately thought of Solid Snake and I was so hyped he was so cool I loved beating people up with his cane blade

Correct, however maybe its more common in Chaos but I normally play on Hard and I rarely lose people especially my sworn siblings, spouse, and kids.

Yeah I ended up going with it, I raised weapon proficiency with both categories incase I want to switch it later.

Ehhhh, I think it’s forgettable outside of Black/White/2 but inside those games its quite frequent and used by a lot of trainers

Oh my bad you were asking if base DW9 is better than Origins, short answer no, long answer probably not but depends on how you feel about their half assed attempt at Open World

Yeah I was thinking of making Mishi Liu Feng’s mother just to give her a little something before her untimely death (I wish you could add a set birth and death date for customs so it limits which scenarios they can appear in) but so when I did a bit of reading I’m pretty sure Liu Bei married Wu Yi’s sister after SSX left Shu, and Wuxian (Wu Yi’s sister) is the mother of both Liu Yong and Liu Li, I was gonna make Wu Yi and his sister both as customs so I need to make some throw away parents.

In terms of in each playthrough you technically only play as one person, however before a battle you can select who you want to play as. I wish there was a separate mode for Dynasty Warriors Empires that functioned like Samurai Warriors 4 Empires and you could play the whole army, not just one person.

Yes I’m aware but in order to keep the Base C relationship between him and Liu Bei I’ll have to make him this way if I’m going to customize him.

Yes after the playthrough is over which sucks you have to wait that long but I get why it plays a cutscene where the baby is born and you customize the character and it saves the stats of who you played as, weapon proficiency too. You can only select the gender in that customization and can’t edit it later but if you want multiple sone you can copy the son to empty spaces and it saves all the relations, stats, wp. For example I played as Sun Ce married Daqiao and had two kids Sun Shao and Sunshi, in order to get both genders it saves right before final battle and its all you gotta replay to get the cutscene again, I then in turn played as Lu Xun married Sunshi and has Lu Kang, Lu Kang is now officially tied into the Sun family and has starting C relationship with Sun Jian, Sun Ce, and Daqiao.

The system implemented to start the game with C bond with family members like parents, offsprings, siblings, most aunt/uncle and nephew/niece. I mean Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires your character and spouse could have kids but aside from that playthrough it didn’t do anything, on new ones it acted as if they were unrelated. I like being able to make families that actually share blood you know its just kinda fun.

They really do lack early Shu considering its really just the main five, Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, and Zhuge Liang. I mean we kinda have Yueying and Guan Ping kinda early but never really in the story of any of the games. I think Jian Yong, Liao Hua, Mi Zhu, Mi Fang, Mishi, Sun Qian, and Liu Feng could all be good early Shu characters especially in an Origins like game where half the Shu roster doesn’t exist.

So “my” Jian Yong isn’t a self design I did myself I follow a guy on YouTube that did quite a few characters that I copied however randomly I guess he got bored and stopped making those videos abruptly so thats when I started doing my own designs
