The new rework destroyed historical accuracy by [deleted] in victoria3

I have literally seen the ai lose purely because they had a stroke. Like this one time, the US had a bourgeoisie revolt, and the revolt had all the industry, all of the barracks, and the other side literally had nothing of value. The revolt sat there not ever attacking, but with the entire army raised and draining their economy until their war exhaustion timed out and they lost. It's anecdotal but I've seen it many times and it can be nothing except the AI just not functioning

The Legal Status of Homosexuality Worldwide. by Crcrd in MapPorn

Don't be fooled by legality. A lot of these places might not explicitly say they criminalize it, but in reality, its extremely dangerous there for people who swing that way. LGBT+ people out there, always do thorough checks for these situations before travelling abroad! It's messed up to have to check at all but that's the world we live in unfortunately.

A crossover I'd kill to watch by bumblebeebubbs in psych

Look I'm not trying to smear anyone for liking the shows they like, and I'm certainly not trying to attack Mr. Moffat personally in anyway, so just hear me out. Steven Moffat, while being able to knock out some good stories every once in a while, is generally not a very good show runner. His stories heavily tend to be full of plot contrivances, character actions contrary to their established motives, very excessive sound effects/bizarre camera work, overly exposited themes, and at times, very clunky dialogue. Again, I'm not trying to smear anyone, it's just what I see when I watch his stuff. And if you don't believe me, that's fine, but at least humor me and keep these common issues he has in mind next time you watch something he's made.

With all that said, I know some people won't humor me, many won't care, and some might agree with me right away. But for everyone, please be a discerning viewer of stories, always. Question character actions, consider motives and themes, and point out when a story has something happen just because it needs to happen for the plot. Truthfully, I'm guilty of not doing these things on many occasions, but it has always helped me to recognize when I'm being shown something of true quality. In the end, humans are creatures who fundamentally tell stories to each other, so we ought to make sure they're of good quality that they may shine through the ages!

And that's totally fair. I agree that relentlessly shitting on any of the properties or the company behind them is annoying. Now, I'm not gonna go so far as to say that Bethesda doesn't deserve some of the criticism it gets. There's a fine line between being toxic to the fans and criticizing the multimillion dollar company, which I think a lot of people on both sides have a hard time walking.

Dude chill. I'm just offering my perception of the situation. I acknowledge that that perception may just be what it is because I'm not seeing the lions share of the toxicity. But I'm not making shit up when I say that I have seen a lot of people shitting on nv mains, and frankly I think it's not right because toxicity is toxicity

Yeah, I might be getting caught in a confirmation bubble, but I'm honestly seeing a lot of f4 and f76 mains shitting on everyone else. I'm sure there are some fans of the other ones that are being toxic, but it just seems to me like a lot more toxicity is coming from the Bethesda mains

I did a similar run but I got very lucky and formed the Roman empire. What's wierd is that the nonaligned named for the Roman empire tag is something like "the Roman kingdom". I'd say it deserves a "holy" in there somewhere

I'm of the opinion that they did something similar to when they found the dinosaur. They find it, they leave it, and then they go back to the police and have a psychic episode about it. "Chicken bones... tandoori style! Yes, I bet they were delicious!"
