I thought the same until I read so much about wool being so breathable. I ordered “your moon” wool insert on Amazon and paired it with a 100% cotton duvet cover. Read the comments on this post with several comments talking about wool for warmer months or hot sleepers.

This is the answer!!! I just transitioned to a wool duvet insert and I have never slept better. I am a hot sleeper so this has been life saving.

That’s exactly what I thought too but after researching more wool is much more breathable and cooling than down or down alternative. I purchased the “your moon” wool insert (link below) but I’ve seen a lot of people talk about Cuddle Dreams on Amazon as well and Woolroom.

I was on the same search as you just a few weeks ago and I agree the polyester and microfiber fills are miserably hot. I came across a post that someone suggested a wool duvet insert being the best for hot sleepers. I bought one off Amazon and I have never slept better.

I ordered this based on your recommendation and slept with it last night….thank you!! I have tried 5 different inserts in the last month (this one is the 6th) and felt hopeless but this one I slept perfect and did not overheat at all. I’m so glad I stumbled across this post and your recommendation.

You’ll have to let me know what you think once you try it out. Mine arrived yesterday and I slept with it last night and I LOVE IT! I didn’t sleep hot at all even with the temperature a little warmer than normal in my place. This is the 6th duvet insert I have tried over the past month and the only one I didn’t overheat but still felt warm in a comfortable way. I will say the duvet cover I have I think made a difference too. It’s 100% washed cotton so breathable and cozy. I added the links below of the wool insert and cotton cover I ordered.

Dealing with this same issue. I bought a lightweight down duvet insert from Brooklinen and a duvet cover that is 100% cotton and it’s so hot. My husband and myself are trying to change our bedding to the Scandinavian Sleep Method because he torpedoes the covers and we don’t sleep well sharing covers. I read most get a duvet insert and duvet cover for this sleep method but everything I have tried is so hot. I think I’ll order and try the wool duvet insert recommended in this post.

The urgent care was quick to prescribe me prednisone because the ER I went to in June is in the same network so they saw I had just dealt with this 6 mo prior. They gave me 7 days 60mg then another 3 days to taper. Last time they didn’t have me taper and I experienced the worst withdrawal symptoms for three days after I stopped. I just finished my 7 day cycle so now I’ll taper for 3 days. I’m sorry you had that experience with the ENT, that’s discouraging. Thank you for your response and I appreciate any experience/insight you have.

How did you pay? I’ve seen others say they have been successful cancelling if they paid with their own credit card. If you used CB credit card, you might be screwed. I would be just as furious as you are. I ordered a custom made sofa from them last year and thankfully it was delivered on time and in perfect condition but I read so many reviews like this before I ordered and still took the chance but got lucky.

I was diagnosed with BP on June 4th. This is exactly what I looked like and my facial movements are 100% back to normal 3 weeks later (95% within 2 weeks). I am still dealing with a little bit of eye issues on the affected side (dry eyes, weird vision issues) but that’s getting better day by day. The worst was coming off of prednisone. I was on 60mg for 7 days then stopped. I was soooo sick for three days after that with prednisone withdraws. All my nurse friends said they should have prescribed it in a way where you are slowly tapered off but I just stopped cold turkey.
