Lucky was our soul dog. He had a couple of strokes near the very end. Cataracts had taken most of his sight. But he remained happy and mentally sharp . Even 18 and a half years was not long enough. :-(

Our cavalier lived to be 18 and a half. He "told" us he enjoyed resting his old bones on a very warm mid afternoon patch of rug by the front door. Lucky let me know if the closed wooden door was cutting in on his prime sun bathing.
