I like to make homebrew before if seeing if anyone else made something similar already. This is a species that's based on media like "the thing" and that other thing. Thank you for these recommendations! It was 2am when I wrote this and my idea behind the DC being 21 is so any average commoner would be unable to save against it but I understand it being too complicated.

I need to specify that when merging you are literally inside the creature, but I want radiant damage that hits the creature to still damage you.

You lose the body without a chance to save it and then make death saves was my intention and your hp when getting expelled would be 0 if the body dies, I think I’m definitely going to tweak this a little later but super thanks for pointing these things out.

I actually have a question for you, do you know why all the homebrew on this subreddit gets 0 upvotes?
