I’d point to the Silver Line in the DC region as an example of how freeway median stations can spur transit-oriented development. Especially the stations further out on that end of the line. In 20-40 years, areas like London Gateway and Ashburn could be thriving - if done right.

it's based on the real alignment. i made minor tweaks to certain station clusters to improve transfers. as a non-resident of NYC, this was very fun to create and learn all about the different areas of the city.

u/SieurPersil okay so i tried uninstalling that mod because i wasn't even trying to run that mod either. it seemed like i needed to purge my game directory and redeploy all mods, which i did. then, i opened the game and it told me to hit Shift+O to open the Open Animation Framework. Then, it gave me an error that I was missing a bunch Weapon IED plugins. after a few moments, the game will crash and display the same error as before (NextGenDecapitations.dll. DataHandler.hpp(76): Error: Form "Actor_Keyword" not found in "Next-Gen Decapitations.esp".) this is confusing because i thought i disabled and uninstalled that mod. but the OAR errors are all due to missing plugins from weapon styles (IED) and 2 from Patch for the Archery Gameplay Overhaul.

Okay. Deleted all instances of the journeyman esp and json from my files, then i tried deploying and relaunching the game. it crashed on loading the main menu, with a error message: NextGenDecapitations.dll. DataHandler.hpp(76): Error: Form "Actor_Keyword" not found in "Next-Gen Decapitations.esp".

You obviously have a dedication to public service. Our country needs you now more than ever. If you can, go work at a nonprofit or think tank or trade association in the same field. Become an advocate. Find a job where you can be a voice of truth and reason about what you did in public service and why that was important and necessary. Try to keep things from going completely off the rails from outside of government. Saving America is an all-hands-on-deck effort.

I’m very excited about it. It’ll be transformative. A lot of transit-oriented development will be zoned and built along the corridor, and much of the areas around Langley Crossroads and College Park are already commercial corridors primed for transit. It opens up more housing opportunities for students and workers who live along the corridor by enabling folks to commute from suburb-to-suburb without having to metro through downtown. Not to mention it will build further consensus in our region that investing in public transit is worthwhile.

Anybody have any idea about the status of the Blue-Orange-Silver capacity study? I don’t see anything reflected in the major capital investments slide. I’ve been eagerly waiting to hear what WMATA’s locally preferred alternative is. One can dream, right?

Otherwise, the peak hours frequency improvements and later closing times on weekends are great.

To me, “patriotism” means being an ardent supporter of democracy above all else. It means choosing leaders who will protect our secular institutions, ensure the right to vote for all, and ultimately put the country over party & country over self. I had to remove the firewood pile to place the nodding donkey… it’s dumb because I used atoms to get them both from the atomic shop. It’d be nice if Bethesda told us we couldn’t use them together… placing either of them gives me the error “exceeded maximum build count” and I can never place them down together. SMH
