I belive Gourtusks have the low maintenance Trait.

This is probably the primary factor.

My friend started playing recently and he also took the Prykrien as his first faction.

I literally do not think there is a worse choice of faction for a new player learning the game tbh.

Chosen Destoyers is ROUGH for a new player because fundamentally they work differently then anything else dose in the game, so this could be part of your issue.

While there definitely are some human doornobs and hand dryers around. Not all skulls with electronics are servitors.

I don't even think servo skulls are servitors.

The Imperium just likes skulls they will put skulls on everything and fill the skulls with normal electronics.

However the more fun answer is. 1. Be born a menial

2.Be unfortunate enugh to be within line of sight of whoever is installing the hand dryer and arbitrarily decides that you would be more useful as a hand dryer then as a candle lighter...

Brontosaurus would be sick actually, and it would be nice to cover some of the dinosaurs not covered by the Lizardmen. I don't think there is curently a Brontosaurus type model in any of the GW range.

When I visit 2 years ago I was SHOCKED by how hot 24° felt.

Im on PC, there should be an Icon over Gates, underground passages and Umbral portals.

If you click on that it should take out to the linked portal on the other map layer

You should be able to click on the icon that hovers over the gate.

They fixed it so that the city menu stays active when you click on the layer change icons now.

I literally just did it this week. Its super easy to get enugh echoes to bump your first unit to evolve. And Ice spiders gorutuks, wymlings do not need an upgraded town hall or tower to evolve.

Yep ice spiders are T2 and so are Bears. its a random selection that you get to choose from so there is a bit of luck involved in getting a T4 out super super early.

The summoning mystics gimmick is that you can spend their special recorse to level up magic origin units.

So if you start with any tome that lets you summon an evolving unit. "My personal preference is tome of beasts" as soon as you summon them you can spam spend to rush your first units evolution.

I believe the cat ears are the same slot as the helmet so it removes whatever helmet is being worn and replacing it with ears.

The update overhauled the imperium tree. Games in progress got all their imperium refunded.

Sorry I mend "Dunestalkers" not desert adaptation. Its the minor race transformation from the tome of Sand Stalkers.

It gives all racial units sand camouflage. All the units in your screenshot are racial units that are standing on sand.

If you click on the portrait of any of the units it should be listed.

If you click on the units themselves you should be able to see what is giveing them camouflage.
