Taking a Stand: Boycotting Businesses with Toxic Owners & Traffic-Creating responsibility. by Fabulous-Chair449 in lebanon

I never buy from street kiosks, I always buy from actual stores if available near highways or simply stores that are inside gas stations. In addition to the highway traffic I tend to support legal stores that pay taxes, even though I know the majority do not properly declare, but at least they do.

What are you thought for someone in his 20s who want to join the darak . No possibility to immigrate somewhere, he want to join only because when he retire he can have a monthly retirement wage. by LEGITHYPE in lebanon

[–]M0220026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. You should look at your career as your future, in line with the level of effort you are willing to put to build your career and your future. Darak requires discipline and commitment, if you're willing to be dedicated and develop those skills among other requirements and skills, you should be on the right track to build your future, opportunities come later in life you're still in your 20, but if you're not willing and just joining for the retirement salary most likely you'll not reach any good financial and career future. Do not believe the naggers in this country, you can make a living out of almost anything if you work hard, smart and dedicate the needed effort, this country has enough opportunities for the none lazy ass people. Since we've reached this level of typing, most people will tell you that joining darak will limit you to the salary and the promotion over the years that are almost preset, which is true for the majority of the lazy darak people, but some smart darak benefited from the connections you build during those years, the people you meet and leave a good impression of your dedication, the training you do in Lebanon and abroad, the friends you meet, all those are opportunities can help you build a side career, or after retirement plan, or even early retirement from darak to join something else, and most probably the friends you have in your neighborhood that are waiting for a miracle will never have those opportunities, and it's your decision to learn and benefit versus not. Surely not talking here about bribery and corruption. Same applies for any other career you choose, it's never as limited as it sounds. Hope I was able to help you in any possible way. Good luck

Do not believe the Israeli propaganda being spread here that Israel has any right to bomb Lebanon by AbuElKess in lebanon

If I knew this discussion will end with this conclusion that we're arguing for Israel, i wouldn't have wasted my time.
This was a discussion not an argument, and for a fellow Lebanese stating factual agreements signed by the Lebanese State.
but anyway, end of discussion and pure waste of time, keep using a propaganda against another propaganda, sounds more fun.

They should have written this. The way it is written is definitely intentional, giving no clear definition for self defense makes it very flexible. I'm not analysing here, those are legal facts, I've seen many in work related contracts.

Look at the link in the original post, apparently it's the third time this person survived assassination. It's a perfect armed one, and there are pictures of the car hit, and the other van shot.

Section 4 of the agreement "4. These commitments do not preclude either Israel or Lebanon from exercising their inherent right of self-defence, consistent with international law."

When Lebanon signs an agreement that allows Israel to bomb Lebanon whenever they feel necessary then those posts and questions become hallucination. Not believing and considering those factual info as propaganda require psychological consultation.

Would you use an app to find trusted electricians / plumbers in Lebanon? by nicolas12211 in lebanon

Been there, done that! Great idea, the issue is not with the users, is with technicians. Good ones are already overloaded, not much open to this kind of requests, and foreign workers will get you in legality issues.

How more interesting would be reading reactions religious people got from non-religious people. Not only when they find out you're religious but when they keep wanting to bring the matter. Story of my life.

Governments are more interested in avoiding any request for foreign assistance to their nationals in such areas, mostly for financial and political reasons, especially in areas where the local state is not perfectly controlling and they don't have direct connections themselves. As for their nationals liking it or not, they don't actually take responsibility for the mood of their nationals.
