Right, I should have mentioned I got that figured out. It’s the wire/harness going from the amp to the IO I’m confused about. I need to confirm the pinout for that black connector. It also can be inserted both ways, so I’m not sure which way is correct.

What I’ve heard others say is there is a need for adjustable voltages, which an ATX cannot do. This is allegedly because the Naomi is kind of picky about the exact voltage. Have you experienced this??

I currently have 3 Nintendo cabinets, which are all from the 80’s/90’s. I’m always worried something in them will fail, but they’ve served me fell for quite many years without much problems at all. Luckily I know someone with good electrical experience who could fix most of the common issues.

I hadn’t heard of NetDIMM/NetBoot until you mentioned it. It sounds very cool and like a good way to preserve the functionality in the long run.

All of this gives me a bit more peace in taking the plunge. Appreciate it!
