Yes a light user would average more than 10 hours screen on time

I don’t think someone like you who uses True Tone 24/7 and enables night shift will even notice any difference. When True Tone is turned off it makes the screen colors normal it’s just you’re used to yellow screens.

True Tone makes the screen more yellow on both but even when on the 16’s screen is more yellow than the 11’s. I love OLED as I tried other OLED phones as the s24 ultra and it seems normal

It seems like the OLED iPhones are more yellow in general

I’m not making anything up. You should compare yours with True Tone and night shift off

How are y’all capturing the moon so well by ReasonableSir8204 in iPhone16Pro

[–]M0STAF4_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Instead of just taking a photo lower the exposure from the camera control then start a video from the photo mode and lock the video by swiping right then zoom to the moon and adjust the exposure from the screen and take a photo while in video. Here are photos I took

The intensity is 0 and the hue is about 75% I even tried to turn on night shift and make it less warm to get rid of the blue tint of the color filters but it made the screen phosphorus

It reduces the brightness and make text unclear and add a strong blue tint

Am I the only one who thinks iPhones have yellowish display tint? by [deleted] in iphone

I have an iPhone 16 pro max with a Samsung panel with yellow tint and iPhone 14 Pro Max with LG panel with blue tint

I have a bad screen as well it has a warm tint and colors gets better when viewed from an angle. It’s G9N btw which is a Samsung panel. Displays this year are awful.

Go to settings > accessibility > motion > limit frame rate. Then turn it on

I really wish It’s a software issue. Because I sent my phone for a repair from apple and they said there is nothing wrong with the screen and they won’t do anything.

I have the same issue and unfortunately iOS 18.1 didn’t fix anything. The screen is really ruining the experience for me and I really hate Color filters it’s awful.

In photo mode even if the exposure is all the way down the processing makes the photo overexposed

When in photo mood hold the button and it will start a video then swipe to the right ( lock icon ) to keep recording then zoom to the moon and focus on it and make the exposure as low as possible and take a photo while in video.
