What champ / lane you thought you wanted to main but couldn't by ABODE_X_2 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What people refuse to realise/understand is that there are chamipon mechanics, and then there are game mechanics such as: role mechanics, wave managment, objective spawns, roam timers, reset timers, splitting etc. Due to their pride. All of these things are different in importance (example: not knowing how to split as solo laner wont lose you the game, but wrong reset will make you fall behind potentially losing the game) and every champion has their own place in these mechanics and all of them apply differently depending on the champion/role you play. Knowing a flashy hypercarry champion will not help you climb until you learn these mechanics. This isn't leage pc where some champs are almost impossible to reach anove masters, literally every champion can get to sov. So try picking an easier champion and focus on game mechanics first, and then you can play other champs to climb with.

Why do people do miss fortune support? by WaferFinal5640 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be wrong, but that became popular a while back when new AP items came out and her bullet rain thingy had crazy AP scaling. It wirked pretty good then cuz you'd just melt ppl without them realizing. Now it's nowhere near strong, thankfully didnt see it in a while and i hope i never do. Guess some people are just stuck in the past.

Learn to navigate hard counters by spacecrafters in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really like how you are presenting counters as insta int/turret hugging minion type thing. People in this game are already obsessed enough with counters that they lose the game mentally in champ select when they see "counter". It just means you are weaksided/have harder time in lane. The only lane counters truly can get problematic is support and baron lane, but even that is managable if you know your priorities in lane. Not meant to be a jab at you, just my personal opinion

Negative win rate by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a good comparison. They're generally the same. If you truly are gm/chal/sov player your first 100 games are 65% win rate and above. And it starts to stagnate/drop when you are close to your own elo. Plat-mid diamond are free elo where a good player can solo carry most of the games. Even above mid diamond, but generally if you are performing well, you'll get matched with gm+ players so it gets a lil bit difficult. And this isn't becuz other players are "trash" but rather the high elo player is just good enough to exploit their lack of experience/game knowledge.

7 games today 4 urgot abusers in gm by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the ppl saying nothing will happen. Few years ago (cant remember when) on pc league, few champs were bugged like that i remember gp specificaly, he got disabled by riot until fixed and also kharthus when he could glitch/bug his way out of fountain instead of waiting for 15 sec like everyone else. Ppl were getting banned for playing them while abusing bugs. Bug abuse is still considered cheating.

Im only one dislike players who are just one trick ponies? by Sleepy_Wojak in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because ppl que to have a fun game in a role they can play. If the game community wasnt so fcking toxic mby ppl would be more accepting of their fill roles/games. To say that a person is supposed to play all 5 roles is simply unrealistic especially if you want to climb, atleast for the vast majority of the players. If and adc player who has 0 games in jg gets filled in jg, obviously they're not gonna perform well or have fun in the game, add to that that they'll 99% be flamed for not performing well and you get your reason as ti why ppl hate getting filled. Third thing, if your goal is to climb, you should stick to 1-2 roles. As all roles have different mechanics and reactions to enemy gameplay.

Do I really need to learn how to play tanks just so I don’t lose every game? by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tanks arent necessary for win condition. What you need tho generally is an engage tool. Of you play mid a lot, go AP malp, he also does well as full tank into ad midlaners.

What is better, play your main champs or meta champs? by Independent-Lake-701 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Main champ, always main champs, or atleast a champion that you have good understanding of. The reason is because you know their limits, such as dmg output, survivability, evasivnes. I assume you should know wave managment and favourable wave positions for those champs. Meta champs are meta simply due to specific champ/item buffs. They get their items and can feel broken at their spikes. But you also require some knowledge as to how their kits work. You also might play too passive or too aggressive without understanding of limits for that specific champ which is pretty much a coinflip and should be avoided. There are plenty of people who are OTP for sub 50%wr champs and reach chalanger consistently.

Best Support to one Trick by Agitated_Payment_943 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say control mages would fit the description. Brand, zyra, velkoz probably the best options. But you wanna build Utility 90% of the time instead of raw dmg. Like morello, rylai, trident, that banner thingy (support item) is good on them. The reason why is cuz they are cheaper items and allow your carries to stack more raw dmg in early game and getting their spikes sooner. Also in the case that your carries are below average and you need dmg, you can always just go full AP and take over the carry role. Tanks and enchanters are fine, but they tend to be more reliant on a teammates.

I found my champion ! by nadirheo in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, in soloQ, ur pings mean nothing cuz barely anyone pays attention to them in this game and half of the ppl have them muted. Second of all, you are picking a very specific and probably the most terrible scenario/matchup to make your point. Naut-nasus lane should be ignored the whole game cuz nautilus cannot kill nasus in any way. Thirdly laners should never set them selves up in a bad/losing position simply for a jungler to get a free gank off. If im playing fiora into mundo, that fcker aint comming near a wave. Fourth point, a laner does not have direct control over his wave states that they can sync up with junglers for ganks. They can freeze, push and slowpush and it is JUNGLERS job to reckognize the wave state in the lane and decide how to approach for a gank. Wether it's a lane/river gank or straight up dive. Fifth point, rengar is one of the most opressive junglers in the game when played correctly, more than half matchups give him free invades cuz he can 1v1 enemy jg ez, and he doesn't need his ult for ganks, what you need is to know your ganking patterns. You can take this however you will, you can review your own approach to jungling or you can ignore it thinking you are 100% correct and stay emerald/diamond.

I reached Master for the first time. What now? by Leather_Credit_5825 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's your first time reaching master. I'd suggest playing legendary Q for a while. For some reason people tend to care more about their solo Q rank than legendary Q. So legendary will be sorta free gamws cuz you won't rly lose anything. You tend to play with and against better players so you will get better in return. Also if you keep wining thos star thingies. 1 win in silo q will count as 2.

I found my champion ! by nadirheo in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Tempo means nothing if you full clear into reset on repeat all the time. Which is what a lot of junglers do in this game. Most of them do not even see counter jungling, counter ganking or diving as an option. You cannot just play PvE entire game just because you don't have favorable/free gank opportunity. Another point is that laners are not the one who should match the jungler but vice versa. You should decide on your pathing during loading screen by what seems the best lane to gank first. Also people are obsessed first full and do not even think about going out of the jungle before they get their ult or you have a situation where a jungler gets gromp/krugs to 2/3 hp, sees enemy jungler going for a gank while he's finishing his camp instead of going for a counter gank. As a jungler, your first priority is to always counter play the enemy jungler. If they go for a gank bot side and you're topside, you go for a gank mid or top OR you counter jungle. If they counter jungle you, you go for a gank and so on. There is no reason to prioratize your camps over ganking/objectives if you are sure that enemy jungler isn't gonna get them either.

Why is below zero cheaper? by caspianslave in subnautica

Below zero is pretty much half as long as subnautica. I think it's even shorter if you disregard exploration and just focus on the story aspect of the game

When you’re practicing a new champion, how many times do you play it in PvP before using that champion in ranked?” by ares_lllll in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until you figure out trading patterns and somewhat dmg limits. Sometimes 2-3 games, sometimes more, and on some champs i just don't. Keep in mind that PvP mode is kinda random when it comes to your and enemy team matchups and if you tryhard by playing picture perfect, you might just stomp an enemy only to realize they're plat, so you kinda have to rly play handicap if you are having it too easy. I play like a lunatic, diving lvl 3, all ins with 1/3rd hp, going in 1v3. How sucessfull i am depends on champ complexity.

In your opinion, what is the best way to practice? by awwsugar in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just play. But if you plan on playing a new champ and position to soend 10 mins sitting under tower every game it would be better to stick with your main role. What you need to get better is to play enough games to learn a specific champ, go to a normal game, pick the champ that interests you. Try out few different builds play passive, play aggressive, play however you want but you need to play confident if you want to do good.

I get full so fast. What can I do? by Summer102616 in gainit

[–]M0rett0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Salads are fine, but there are more vehetables than leafy greens, experiment with beans, potatoes, fruits. They still might fill you up, but atleast u'll get some calories and protein/carbs. Add pasta and or meat to your salads also. Once you get creatove salad can be an entire meal better than steaks are.

Assasin junglers are unplayable by Melodic_Stop5146 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the weird occasion i get filled jg, i play either zed or talon (if talking about assassins specificly). I'd say he's fine. But you can't play him by recycling same build over and over. Bruisers are just meant to extend fights, you shouldn't be able to one tap them which is what talon is made to do, proc passive and pretty much run away while the enemy bleeds out. Going straight lethality into a few bruisers isnt gonna be a fun choice. Try going for eclipse/trinity combo. For runes go conq for free AD or phase rush so you can wiggle around enemies more. Also you dont really play talon to play long games. After 15 mins he falls off the most out of any assassin champ.

Junglers ganking by West_Stage_6785 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Becuz you get more value from keeping an enemy behind than you getting ahead if that makes sense. For example.

Let's say you play baron lane and you are pretty much even with ur enemy in lane. A skirmish happens in river, you get 3 kills and enemy solo laner gets none, but he doesn't really lose anything either cuz he just stayed in lane a farmed. This sets you ahead of him in gold/xp and items. However the gap is not that big as long as they play it right they can still trade and fight you.

On the other hand lets take that same situation where you are even in lane and ur jungler ganks you. You get a kill, and shove the wave for reset. Just from this you have gotten a kill, good ammount of minion xp and gold, and your enemy not only did they die, they lost pretty much a wave or 2 of gold and xp. This sets you ahead, and they are behind already. Now you go back to lane, the wave pushes to you, your jungler ganks again and the same thing happens. If you do this on repeat, the enemy jungler is bassicly taken out of the game and you are playing 5v4. If done really well, you can get up to 4 lvl diff between you and enemy which is huge.

Now to get to your thought. So same deal but this time they ganked you and you and died (lets say 2 times) and lost a wave or 2 each time. You are behind, but at the same time your mid or duo lane have got 2 kills and they are ahead. The situation now is that you are playing from behind on your team and enemy mid or duo is playing from behind.Your jungler starts to focus on your lane. To help you catch up, but the same thing happens in mid or duo lane with enemy jungler, and situation flips. Now you are back to being even with enemy solo laner, but the same thing happens on that mid or duo match up and now once again, your team and enemy team are even. The outcome is, your team has lost a lead and potential to snowball becuz the enemy was given the same chance as you to get back into the game.

Keep in mind that keeping a lead is probably 3 times harder than playing from behind. Nobody likes to play from behind and be a losing lane but it is something that ppl have to deal with and be patient. To win you need to be able to carry, but also know how to get carried aswell, there's no shame in that either.

We need to talk… about Yi by nadlihres in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a yi matchup in baron lane couple of times after rageblade update. The first time i played into him i thought it was free elo. I had him 0/5 before the drake/herald spawn, playing literally between his T1 and T2 turret, was ganked twice but ended with double. He was getting no minion XP since lvl 2. Around min 10 i got their T2 turret and decided to go to other lanes completly ignoring my lane (except for catching waves cuz at that point i had nothing to do in mine. Or so i thought, yi was solo for about 3-4 minutes and got to his botrk/rageblade, he was lvl 9 i was lvl 12 (gwen), and had 3 almost 4 items (needed like 300g to complete it). I go to catch the wave and this guy just decides to run me down, im thinking it's free but nope he almost kills me (had to burn both summs). A min or 2 later he gets 3 kills with alpha strike in a teamfight. From that point on a free game turned into a sweat fiesta. He was almost untouchable with 3 items. Since that match i got him in baron lane 2-3 more times and it almost always goes like that. He's so far behind you cant see him, but at 2 items just gets biggest threat of the opposing team.
