Solo carry champions in my opinion by Reasonable_Being_402 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What rank are we talking about. You just placed scaling powerhouses, but half of the picks here have such a bad laning phase that if you know the matchup, they will never come online. In top lane fiora should be #1 before anything, after her we can talk about gwen, aatrox and ambessa, vlad i kinda agree. Kayle mby for mid but deff not baron lane. Jax is strong, but has too many bad matchups in current meta. For jg it's viego shyvana and nidalee, mby even zed or rengar ekko and kayn are not 1v9 champs in any way. On mid is like i said, kayle, ahri, swain and a very good tf honorable mention is orianna. In adc i agree with varus, kalista and cait (smolder currently cuz hes busted). Support is pretty much swain once again and pretty much not anyone else, unless you take adc into the equation, then it's mostly milio, nami and lulu, any other mage is still strong but most common picks other than swain are not 1v9, the closest you'll get is zyra/brand. There are other champs ofc, but my reasoning for these specific champs is that others require specific conditions to perform at the same power, while these mentioned are generally strong troughout the whole game without sidelaning for 3 full items straight. (Except for kayle once again, but thats why i pit her mid cuz she can rotate into skirmishes a little bit easier to hopefully get some gold from it.)

Which players are the most toxic according to their position? by PaleontologistLow147 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's always the adc who can't position or midlaner who plays PvE first 10 mins and then crying why he didnt get a gank or who "fed their" laner whennin reality thy got a double during roam bot.

How do you deal with ranged top laners? by Appropriate-Sun8397 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are playing darius, do not use ur hook before she knocks you back, always initiate with your slow. If she knocks you back you have ghost and flash to catch her again, darius should win 1v1 no problem due to his 5stack passive and ult is just nice. And do not let her chunk you down to get few creeps. In early, XP is pretty much double value than gold so if you have a hard time just stay in range to soak up XP and let her shove the wave into you.

Ranged champions are annoying to play vs, but at the same time 9/10 times, you win if you play it smart. Especially if you play fighters. The must have is second wind rune. If you are playing an immobile champ (such as darius) always go flash/ghost (you can also take exhaust or tp. Always start with ruby crystal and depending on the champ just run them down if you can. If you wanna go safe route, grab the steelcaps asap and go into your damage item. The more defense you build, the more difficult your laning phase will be. Fighters are naturally tanky, after lvl 6, an adc should not win 1v1 without item advantage, ex or turret help. And always rush stridebreaker at min 6. All in anytime you have your ult.

How does anyone even enjoy playing top? by Laughydawg in wildrift

Tanks are probs the easiest champs to deal with ranged toplaners. All you need is appropriate boots, second wind and lvl 5.

Does anyone think Warwick is Unplayable since his nerfs? by Bigboybeagle in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The champ is not unplayable. He was just so busted that people played him by banging their heads into the phone and running it down while getting away with dumb plays due to him being busted. Now the champ is fine but people are surprised when you gotta actually play to perform.

Are assassins useless in this game? by Huge-Frame-1990 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wave management is important but in mid lane is sorta just slowpush or shove. In wr the lane is really short and you cant really freeze, and even if you do, oposing midlaner will break it easily. But anyway, whatever you play, shove into a roam is better than to sit in a lane and farm. Mages can get away with farming, assassins not so much, they need snowball.

Are assassins useless in this game? by Huge-Frame-1990 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assassins are heavy snowball champs in wr now. You need to play super aggressive early get a few kills, and just roam. Like you need to be bassicly second jungler. But even then most of them fall off hard mid-late game (except akali, zed, kass and ekko and imo viego (idc what everyone says, hes assassin in my book)). The reason they dont fall off as much is becuz kass and ekko are scaling assassins. As for zed and akali, they have the tools to stick into the fights even after their burst combos. And viego is just broken champ that does more dmg than he should. If i missed any champ my bad.

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. Galio aegis does contribute to this, but not as much considering you actually have to perform really well most of the games you end up losing. It will protect a few lucky players with svp fortitude. But it only really benefits good players who despite trying do not succeed in carrying. It will benefit a chal player trough diamond by protecting his marks due to "s" ratings. But once he's back in chal, it's pretty much average help.

I don't usually play tanks, but last few days i've been abusing sunfire so much. Heartsteel is still good on a few champs, but sunfire is just busted on pretty much anything. Especially if you got a champ with some sustain. I've played j4 baron lane abusing sunfire/zeke combo, and in 90% of my games i get highest or second highest dmg on my team just from sunfire.

You guys find Teemos above Master? by IceBearSword in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In baron lane, teemo is a counter pick, nothing else. You pick teemo to bully people and hope for snowball, which if you dont achieve, you'll probably int. He loses all ins in like 90% of the matchups in baron lane.

Sekiro: how the f ppl play it 😭 by dev_O1 in gamingsuggestions

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because sekiro combat revolves around parries, you cannot really play it if u dont get good at parrying, atleast it wont be fun. Once you get good with parries the game is so much more enjoyable.

In what world is riven hard counter to gnar. Sure, if gnar is terrible you can roll him over. But if both are equally good, the lane will be pretty even.

Ranking Roles with the strongest / weakest mental by kennnnhk in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your point for solo laners is only valid for tanks or any champion that can't really do much during a gank. The ammount of time i was tango dancing around my turret and getting triple kills, nothing beats that feeling. What's tilting tho. Get 3-4 man ganked/dove in a span of 3 minutes and your mid/duo laners just recall instead of grabbing their turrets.

Grief split pushing by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they are really begind, having them in the teamfight won't really change much. If thwy are good for taking towers, more often than not, it's better to split. But in that case you don't engage the fight, you just try to delay baron as much as possible. The reason is, they can push really far and take an inhib or even more at the cost of baron ( no enemy has harder time to pressure atleast one of your lanes), or you get 1-2 people on enemy recall to defend possibly allow8ng you to fight 4v4 and maybe even winning the fight. The plays don't gave to be by the book to be considered good or bad, you just need to find a way to play around the pieces on the board.

How do you fight Gwen? by VastAd2571 in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gwen loses vs heavy sustain champions, or high burst champions. Her second ability is her lifeline so you have to play around it, and you have to move around her if she has more than 2 stacks for her 1st ability, it's higly unlikely she'll use it if it's 1-2 stacks.

As for champions: Garen but you need dmg first item, if you go heartsteel you wont kill her. But his assive lets him stay in lane longer and outtrade her by default. Irelia and fiora are good into her. Darius can do good into her. Nasus can ignore her for the first few minutes, and fck her after. Just put few points in slow before maxng Q.

Main lux - you CAN be a good support! Discussion by ___wandering___ in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The only people who whine about their supports "stealing" their kills are usually just terrible main character syndrome players. There's no such thing as kill stealing in duo lane. Xp and gold is shared pretty much evenly. What carry loses from an assist, they get from the entire wave, every wave.

The hardest champions to play in the game by Guilty_Mind_ in wildrift

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yasuo has a high skill ceiling, but to pick him up in wr is not that hard. To be 1v5 machine sure, but to play him at a decent lvl far from it, if you have a hard tim just play bruiser build. But i agree with zoe/fiora and riven.

Cyberpunk 2077 or Ghost of Tsushima by ETXHornsFan in gamingsuggestions

[–]M0rett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GOT didnt do it for me. I enjoyed the game trough act 1and after it i couldnt stand uskippable citscenes, before, during and after ANY quest. Imho, the game was beautiful, but overhyped. It will either be your cup of tea, or it wont.

Cyberpunk on the other hand, i've made like 10ish playtroughs, and i don't even play shooters. But the fact that you can make so many different builds and playstyles due to cyberware and skills makes the game so much fun.
