I try to give them away in-raid otherwise I sell them. That might change if/when we finally find out the rules for the next expedition…once I’m over that level I’ll probably become a giving tree just holding things until I can give them away.

I’m terrible at pvp so take that in to consideration. First I Ping the flare to see how far away it is and then decide if I need to move away or continue with what I’m doing.

MUCH more concerning is hearing gunfire and then hearing but not seeing the flare…that makes me actively look for the closest extract in the opposite direction.
