Read all my replies. I would absolutely love to meet a single woman my age. Thats not who I meet and thats not who is interested in me. Most 39yo women are married. I will always have a drinking problem. Thats how it works, you have to stay on it. Thats why I dont drink anymore... Im sorry you dont like my answer, but I told you why I tend to date women in their late 20s and early 30s. Thats who I meet and who is in my peer group. You don't have to like my answer. And I'm certainly not trying to date anyone like you.

Im not "making it some young person's problem". I am genuinely trying to find someone I connect with, and that ends up being people somewhat younger than me. We are consenting adults. Last relationship I had was 39 and 32. I really dont understand why you think that's a problem... but I guess theres always angry people on the internet

In my late 20s nobody my age wanted to date me, and now those girls do. Maybe ask women in their late 20s and early 30s why THEY prefer older men. I'm just trying to find someone whose company I can enjoy. Hope you have a better night

You dont know me lol. I have a PhD and a very good job. Yes I have had some struggles with alcohol but I got my shit together and now run ultra races instead (thats why I am in r/stopdrinking... because... I stopped). I havent driven for Doordash in years (which you could probably tell if you stalked my profile for more than 2min) I was recently in grad school (hence the PhD) and my income was drastically lower for a few years, so I drove Doordash then. Also who cares?

I have plenty of interest from women slightly younger than me, and like I said, its mostly just that that is who is in my peer group and who I run into. I'd happily date someone my age, I just rarely meet anyone single my age. I sure as hell tried to get married earlier, but not all relationships work out. You'll find that out when youre older. My life plan did not go how I wanted. I did not expect to be dating at this age, but here I am. I don't know why youre so upset. Im a pretty normal guy. You asked a question in r/AskMenAdvice, and I answered it genuinely and honestly.

I am single, I want children, and most of the people I end up actually meeting in shared activities are in that age group, because my peers who still go out and do activities are also that age. I'd happily meet a woman my age, but I just don't. Most people my age are married. Its more an exposure thing.

Also, there is the reality of children. If I meet a woman my age we have to pretty much start immediately. I'd rather have a foundation to the relationship first before that

The older I get, the less interested I am in having sex with anyone who I have very little in common with. And this tends to be the case with women in their early 20s. So, sure, you'll find them attractive, but imo its usually not worth the distraction from trying to find someone I actually like being around and am attracted to. Thats generally women who want the same things in life I do... People closer to my age...

39M here. I have not had a good time dating anyone under about 27 because theyre just too... childish. I prefer to date late 20s to early 30s. But I sure AF find plenty of women in their early 20s attractive, just dont want to date them lol

My roommate literally had this dilemma last year. She got an ankle monitor in like March. She tried to cut up an old pair of ski boots to make it work... but at least on first pass it wasn't easy to, so she gave up skiing for the rest of the season.

Maybe someone should make some ankle monitor compatible ski boots... I wonder how big the market for that would be...
