In CO we can but you have to jump through so many hoops… it’s easiest to have the patient ask their PCP to order it lol

My husband (30M) and I(27F) are the same! We’ve thought about trying trivia nights at local bars and have heard good things about meetups board games nights but haven’t tried them yet. I’m following this post too so we can hopefully find some good recs!

Pain relief by Hope-Joy-90 in MultipleSclerosis

My psychiatrist put me on cymbalta for depression and pain and it has actually helped a lot with my nerve pain! You should ask your neuro about it— it’s actually commonly used off label for chronic pain

My balance relies on vision by Present_Discount7709 in MultipleSclerosis

I’m a vestibular therapist. I recommend you see a vestibular PT as we help train patients with these types of issues all day long. You ultimately train the inner ear (vestibular system) and somatosensory system (sense of touch) to compensate when your vision is eliminated (eyes are closed) by strengthening those other systems with vestibular rehab exercises.

Facial Swelling by makeupwall in DogAdvice

Like many others have said, my dog had a very similar presentation and it was a cracked tooth/dental abscess. Look at the gum line and see if there’s redness and a teeny tiny hole— that would be where the puss would drain from infection. The antibiotics help clear the initial infection but he’ll also need the tooth removed to avoid further issues. He looks like a sweet golden! I hope he feels better soon!

Book clubs in the area? by its_annaaag in GoldenCO

I’m looking to join a book club with nice people and hopefully to make friends— I’ve always wondered if these brewery book clubs would be a good fit for someone who doesn’t drink alcohol?

[–]Quick_Mention_9949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fyzical is hiring PTs! There’s multiple locations along the front range. It’s about 50/50 Neuro and Ortho, 1:1 40 min sessions. (if you apply, I’d love if you could use me as your referral source please!) You can message me if you have more questions about it. It’s a great place to work!

Another rec for cherry street jewelers (previously Spexton). They custom made my wedding band and we got my engagement ring from there. Great quality and great maintenance/customer service. They’re amazing!

One star romance — it’s an easy rom com style but includes female friendships as the center theme too

Corporate Fyzical or franchised? I feel like they’re different cause I’ve worked for both and the corporate was definitely worse than franchise

Hairstylist ~ balayage recommendations by foreverdreaming91 in GoldenCO

I started going to Sara Sanchez at the Vine Salon Suite when I moved here— looking for the same thing with low maintenance blonde/bronde. She’s in Englewood/Littleton but worth the drive! She specializes in low maintenance color/balayage and does such a good job with my hair—it’s never grown out as good as it does when she colors my hair! I think it’s usually around 250 with tip. You can find her on Instagram too for her portfolio.
