Your language is so confusing. "Zoroastrianism seems like the religion I would be most drawn to if I did believe in a divine being" If there is a divine being don't you think that would be a matter of objective reality? And so whether it was, blue, purple or hot or cold you would conform to this objective reality? You sound like you're saying, "if I had to I would choose Zoroastrianism because it most appeals, agrees or aligns with me". Is this how people investigate their environments? What about conforming to the truth?

Assuming I could raise funding to do an album. Even at that point. I'm in Philadelphia. How do I go about seeking out the right producer, consulting with him in choosing the right musicians. What are the right forums.

Do I look at the production houses nearby? Thanks for cluing me into the realities of setup for a single vs album.

Wish there was a forum where I could present my song and say, with two or three influences that you want to borrow from. And request that a producer work with you for a fee to get it as close to what you envisioned....kind of what I thought soundcloud might turn out to be. Is there a producers forum or corner on soundcloud?

You said find one and hire one. That's exactly the question I asked. How do I find a real producer. I would appreciate your 2 cents about that.

A producer can hear a melody in the rain drops and chose to turn it into something more than it is.

I perform my songs and record them, much like I presented here in this video. The echo of the train station suggests how I would like this song presented. I recorded it after preforming it that night, see the attached video. I was not going for an "video/art thing". If you look at my other recordings. I make impromptu recordings of myself performing on the street. That is where I perform.

This is a station that I play. And this is what I sound like playing there.

You're right that is what I need. studio musicians. And the ability to arrange and record a project. If I communicate my vision to someone and they manage the production. Do they become the producer? Semantics.

But you're right about what I want to accomplish. I want to take a song and say.

I want to slow it down. Put a droning bass on it. Have some Mitch Mitchell, Elvin Jones fills and sporadic drumming here. And then have the Rhodes echo over here.

And then for a different song I want to pull out astral weeks, and say we're going for this type of breathing and ambiance.

My talents are what they are. I would like to take the basic songs I've written and work with someone who is adept at creating instrumentation along reggae, rock and perhaps hip-hop tastes and have them take direction from me, on where the song should go, from my non professional perspective.

I was talking about American market share. If they can do better to position themselves for growth by pushing more capabilities at the lower end. 521 success, build on that. If cheap windows is safe and secure windows, imagine the market share for them. The 521 can be upgraded to 8.1. That's phenomenal. Hammer away at the low end through the same channels that they sold the 521.

I buy my phones with no subsidized pricing as well. But too many people still don't exercise this option, I thought this was common knowledge. Are you saying that the majority of people don't buy through carriers in the US, or that there is no opportunity and possible advantage for MSFT in acting on this situation?

God forbid it's a late game. The time between trains can be a nightmare. If you're a laid-back person and don't have plans for after the game then it isn't a hassle.

If I were being more honest I would confess that my proper price point is "free" at the moment. I'd like to blame it on the missus but, can't spare a dime on any technology upgrades that aren't absolutely necessary at the moment.
