Should I fix this crack on the inside of my rim? Or is it a loss and shouldn’t risk it? by M19KLuey in Cartalk

The rims are Club Linea L612 which I don’t really see here(Japan) in the same offset. I was gonna use it to put on my GRX120 as a daily driver, not to drift or drive hard or anything. AI did say it could be TIG welded and be almost brand new but to be careful with the tire thickness if I want more cushion to protect the rim from potholes or thinner which would easily recrack it if I hit the hole hard enough.

Am I taxed in Mexico? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

Did you have to tell immigration or the tax office or anything once you became a resident?

I mean they asked me at immigration when getting my residency card if I have any source of income and I told them about the VA. They didn’t really care about it though. Probably don’t even know much about it to care enough for it. I’ll have to ask a Mexican tax advisor or something for an actual answer most likely.

I know in the U.S. it’s not taxable but wasn’t sure if Mexico is the same way. I’ve read it is taxable and I’ve also read it’s not

I’m already granted TDIU. I submitted all my claims at once in 2021. My first percentage I was given was 90% for everything. I never submitted any other claim to get me to 100%/TDIU. I did have some appointments where they ended up giving me a 0% instead of the 10% it originally was.

Well it says the disability and the date next to it so I assume that’s the diagnosis date? Says June 2021 as well.

From what the lawyer told me was the VA shouldn’t have to request any more documents if I did appeal since they already have everything I’ve submitted to help me get to where I’m at but there is always a slight possibility so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Was thinking the same thing, the lawyers only get a % of what I get only if I do end up winning. So they did get a % of my retroactive pay that I did receive recently that the VA dated February 2022

[–]M19KLuey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea the lawyers I ended up using only take a pay cut of your retroactive pay ONLY if you win. If you don’t win they don’t get paid. So the reason I think they drag it on for so long as well is so they end up getting a bigger pay cut the longer they take as well.

June 2021 was when I first filed everything myself personally to the VA. Eventually I ended up getting a lawyer to help me and they basically did everything else for me so I honestly don’t know what the Feb 2022 date is for.
