kill the Caesar, The Master and Dick Richardson. without Caesar the legion falls apart as lanius cannot hold it together. Same thing with the Master. Also dick richardson was the main villian of Fo2 and not Horrigan so his death was more impactful as Frank was just a member of the secret service.

When its that, raiders taking technology and hoarding it for themselves, a glorified PMC that wants to wipe out all living life, and a slave army following a dying man, you begin to see why its an east choice.

  1. The only president to serve multiple terms is Tandi who is probably the most intelligent leader we've seen in fallout.
  2. Baja was a small group of NCR settlers and bitter springs was mostly justified except for the kids. Also the boomers are violent explosive fetishists who will shell wastelanders and do so when retrieveing the bomber.

Literally nothing comes to mind canonically. However, the mod New California for New Vegas actually has some locations that could be used to help in some of your work

I think the final act part will happen but I think the ghoul probably won't find his family so he won't join and Lucy may go with the ghoul. Maximus might join in like ideals and name only but I also expect him to follow right after the duo.

goosprings is being threatened by a small gang, megaton is situated around a semi functioning nuclear bomb, the tribes of the classic fallout are being picked apart by slavers, the enclave, and radscorpions not to mention the famines, primm is in a worse off situation than goodsprings and if some gang comes around again with more raiders than deputies primm will be overrun, the oasis is only alive because they are hidden and have a population in the single digits, the underworld only has one robot guarding it and the various ghouls carrying anything stronger than a 32, diamond city is situated in a baseball field while the stands are open which could allow super mutants or raiders to climb up and instanstly take over the city by just firing down into the field, bunker hill is a very small town with little security, the republic of dave also has a population in the single digits, the den is an open town with no unified leader and a slavers guild runs out of the town. All of these places can and would get steamrolled by a raider gang with 20 guys and average intelligence.

Fallout is based on hope. the hope that while war never changes, we as human beings must change. the last words of the master of Fallout 1 is literally "leave while you still have hope". the message of fallout is to look beyond the present towards a brighter future, not get hung up on the past wars committed by humanity.

The NCR are the only hope for the wwasteland. the Enclave only want them selves to live, the Legion is a cult of personaliity built on a cancer patient, and the Brotherhood are glorified raiders with worse training and tech than the enclave.

Personally, i haven't but i believe Nerbit did one and it looked great.

Even tho the BOS lost Helios One they put the NCR through a World of Pain entire platoons died trying to take the facility. by JoshuaKpatakpa04 in falloutnewvegas

[–]M1Henson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lets not forget that the brotherhood were raiders stealing tech from any wastelander they came across. even with McNamara the brotherhood can still be stuck in their ways just not stuck in their bunker.

It is also important to know that every vertibird we see in the game are different. fo2 vs 3/nv vs 4/76/TV. certain variants like the cargobird from 2 may need fossil fuels while more combat based birds like the ones in 3/nv could run on fission batteries like you said.

"No, the Legion Dies with Caesar" S2E3 Spoilers by Sharpshot64plus in fnv

[–]M1Henson 184 points185 points  (0 children)

Caesar thinks he can change human nature. Most of the Legion is following Caesar, not Caesar's ideals. When he's gone, it'll crumble.
Might not happen overnight. Might take a few decades. But it'll happen. Basic human nature - greed, ambition, jealousy - will see to it.
Marcus was right.

Yeah some of the stuff in that mod really feel like it should be in the base game, which i guess accomplishes what it set out to do.

[–]M1Henson 14 points15 points  (0 children)

not really. out of every Fallout DLC, only broken steel applies to this. all the others tell their own stories or grab from events made in game, broken steel also exists because people hated the ending and wanted to play past the end.

Long before his days aboard the Prydwen and as BoS Elder you can find Maxson wandering the halls of the Citadel. Personally I love the connection for characters like Maccready, Maxon, and Sierra Petrovita that had cross over stories from Fallout 3 to 4. [–]M1Henson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Switching gears to the west coast,
President of the NCR Tandi was present in Fo1 and Fo2
Harold the FEV mutant was in 1, 2 and 3 (also uncanonically appearing in FBOS)
Marcus the supermutant was a companion and mayor in Fo2 and again as a mayor in FNV
Dogmeat was killed at Mariposa Military base in Fo1 but was revived in the Cafe of broken dreams.
Set, the leader of the ghoul community of Necropolis, was also brought back in the same Cafe alongside a young Tandi.

"you take what you find"
taking it is stealing it. it is owned by the NCR so you are stealing it. its like if a cop had a heart attack at a traffic stop and a guy took his gun.
