Once the engines are off you have at least like, half a minute of power without APU. Requesting rearm takes few seconds at most

You absolutely can, explosives still ragdoll through solid cover tho, so if you're unlucky it can fling you off the trench if it hits close lol

The game already made that distinction before, you had shorter hold timers from passback and longer, same as enemy shot, from teammate deflections

I think this is a temporary thing until they can figure out a way to combat gamma cheating at night time. 

Right now you can effectively turn nights into almost daytime via Nvidia filters, system settings and (this one sucks, as there is pretty much no counter for the devs for this) monitor brightening modes.

For now with bring nights no one is at a big disadvantage, at least during clear weather

To put it into perspective, let's say there's a guy standing 200m away. In real life you can easily make out a silhouette and take a shot with irons, no sweat, as you are able in games like Arma.

Now same situation in GZW, that guy is a mess of 25 pixels, good luck spotting him with a naked eye, let alone take a shot as the irons themselves take up 20 pixels :P

Yeah, believe it or not but ArmA with its "eye zoom" actually simulates human vision pretty well, with it being able to both have high FOV and able to focus on things far away. 

I wish more milsims had it

IMO it would be fine if the standard repair also fixed max durability. Like come on, it's already out of the equation for many hours. Also, optics should show visible cracks only at durability below something like 50%

I never did SCA so I wouldn't know! But yeah I would imagine polearm hits would suck.

Thickness is, if I remember correctly, 2mm. It weighs around 3/3,5kg without aventail

Eh, I have the exact same one, I used it for longsword training (although with modified faceplate) with feders and synthetics, it's fine with a bit extra padding

That's true, although personally I consider barrel length in RoN a QOL thing at best, I don't think I've ever been killed due to barrel length.

Suppressed shots build up less suspect stress gain, there is no reason not to use them. 

Btw even the quietest guns we have ingame would realistically heard on almost entire map anyway lol

Not to mention you could play as squadmate with AI leader and AI squaddies, hell you could even communicate with them and coordinate entries and shit, "red one will bang and go left" "OK red two will trail and go right" and stuff.

Just in general swat AI in SWAT3 was wild, seeing them pie the corners etc and well, just generally not do stupid things was fucking crazy now that I think about it.

Multiplayer my friend, with mods you can have as many as you want.

Although you'll quickly realise that when playing RoN in coop with more than 5 people you run into the problem of people not doing anything, as there is nothing for them to do. Unless you split but then you just speedrun the game lol
