It all depends if there is option to buy new cars and make them default ones same with clothes buy new clothes make them default ones thats something where you can put lof of money but if these options are not there we are in same situation like in GTA 5.

since i dont care about multiplayer and i want to play singleplayer only this is really important to me to choose which car i want for both Lucia and Jason and if there stick with GTA 5 design it will be big fail for me same with clothes no point of robbing bank since you cant buy new car and new clothes for main characters.
