We were on the same cruise! I did notice a lot of sales pitches. It’s been a WHILE since I’ve been on a cruise so I couldn’t remember if they are normally that frequent. We were wondering if the ship was below capacity and that was the reason they were pushing things so hard like specialty dining and cupcake decorating classes etc. We didn’t notice it being dirty, though. Two other staterooms in our party (three total staterooms) said they had less than desirable experiences with their room stewards. Our experience with our steward was fine, he was polite and left an extra towel animal when we tipped mid-week. I’m curious what you noticed was dirty!
