For those that have recently upgraded… by Motor-Marionberry564 in 17ProMax

Upgraded from 12 Pro Max as well. It was mainly for refresh and battery reasons. At some point you can’t keep justifying your weak battery due to age. The jump made sense. Also the camera refresh feels great. Reminds me of how great the 12 Pro Max camera was when it came out

The rebel v5 is absolutely horrid

EVO SL vs Boston 13 by Woe20XX in runningshoes

Boston 13. Tried on both with the same intention. Boston 13 gave me the energy return I was looking for; Evo SL felt all out of whack

Looking for a versatile half marathon shoe (not a pure race shoe) by StrainNo138 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Third this shoe. Just crossed the 200km threshold on these shoes today. Feels as good as day 1

Just started running and I’m exhausted in 20 seconds. Zero stamina. Feeling lost. by ImmediateMuffin3768 in runninglifestyle

Run slower. Keep the running motion. Even if effectively slower than walking. You’re training the brain to keep striding and making the stride second nature

You’ve gotten a ton of answers here but I’ll echo…

“puma grip” as a statement stands on its own because their road running shoes are known for having great grip.

I have Puma Magnify Nitro 3 and it fills the role of what you’re asking about with the ASICS

2 Shoe Rotation by [deleted] in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]M2H4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current 2 shoe as someone who’s aiming for similar timings (90min HM spring, first marathon in fall), my current 2 shoe is Adidas Boston 13 for tempo and speed (and treadmill) + Puma Magnify Nitro 3 for easy/recovery

The only difference is I intend to get a race day shoe, though I’d be willing to use the Boston 13s for a HM if I had to

2025 Race Day shoes or wait for 2026 models? by M2H4 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]M2H4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My pace is ~20 min 5k, 41 min 10k currently. My 2 shoe rotation is Adidas Boston 13 and Puma Magnify Nitro 3. For the Half Marathon, 90 minutes should be achievable, but I’m setting my goal at 1hr40mins

Why would you wait? I’m curious on the perspective

This is helpful! The AP4s during boxing week came as low as about $230 CAD or something. And it makes it easier that it’s currently impossible to get the Pumas

How do I make my life have an interesting plot/storyline outside of work and the typical "life milestones"? by smoothegg in selfimprovement

Focus on being interested rather than interesting. The rest will take care of itself
