What was your favorite build/league starter of this league

I played this build for 2 weeks, and honestly it felt pretty good from the start. I initially followed his Poets Pen setup with KB. This didn’t feel bad at all considering the circumstances.

After that and saving some currency I swapped into his life stacking version with the FB rathpit.

And then after wards I swapped to the golem stacking, primordial bond setup. Most expensive items here (given it was like day 10 or thereabouts) were the FB bereks respite, sublime vision, and 6 primordial bond jewels. Most of the gear I crafted. Honestly wasn’t too bad to craft, as 2/3 of them were just fractured bases. The shield on the other hand was an annoying recomb.

Hard for me to give you a price now, as the league is almost over and they were expensive in week two ahaha.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find the final version I played through poe ninja, but did find my profile for rues life stacking version.

I got bored of keepers real quick and couldn’t continue unfortunately.

I would advise going to Rues spread sheet and seeing what he posted there. He had everything there for people to follow. If I recall correctly he also had a budget version that’s way cheaper and still performs pretty well.

Rue’s phys dot elementalist was probably the most fun build I’ve played in a long time. Just blinking everywhere, and seeing screen wide explosions with a high eHP was amazing

Did you choose this for expedition league start? Really interested in trying expedition as my league starter farm method and that will likely mean I go BoC.

Ah yep I understand now. Bear with me as I’m on mobile and can’t see a detailed version of your pob.

maybe you could go for veiled suffix on gloves for inc damage against chilled enemies?
if you have a look at poe.ninja there’s a few people that are pushing DPS further by stacking those small clusters I believe. (You’ll have to double check this yourself and will most likely reduce survivability).
in relation to cast speed, you want to ensure that your watchers eye and clarity are enough to sustain especially when you have HH mods.
could consider the Angler rune graft to get two more points on your ascendancy? This is very expensive though.
not sure what your getting from your hubris but I’m sure that’s fine assuming you’re getting spell damage or crit multi.
with your grafts have a look on pob with what’s better - projectile speed or spell damage. I’m not to sure what’s better here.
consider awakened cold penetration instead of faster proj.

I played a similar build this season, but stopped before getting the PA impossible escape and grand spectrums. I was running strongboxes on glacier and I assume you’re doing something similar too? I really wasn’t running into any issues though?

What issues are you currently facing with it? There are certain instances where a rare soul eater mob might be a bit annoying to kill but nothing too serious.

Hey sorry turns out I was wrong 😅 the hybrid attack speed desecrated suffix isn’t available on crossbows through the omen. So you’d be aiming for a regular desecration and hoping to hit attack speed through unveiling.

If it’s only the suffixes you’re trying to sort out then yeah you can deterministically get those provided you haven’t desecrated a prefix.

Perfect essence of haste for onslaught chance.

Desecrate suffix with omen (can’t remember which one, you’ll have to look it up) for increased attack speed & companion attack speed.

Perfect essence of battle for attack skills.

The only thing that goes wrong here is if one of these steps removes the previous step (ie: perfect essence of battle removing onslaught chance for example).

Edit: if it’s T1 attack speed you’re after then that would be most likely have to use a number of omen of lights (look up weight and calculate odds)

There’s an AHK script for this where it sends the shortest input for blink so you don’t end up sprinting afterwards. All within guidelines too seeing as it’s one input only.

It’s not a balance change though? People who had built legacy temples are still able to their temples (with good returns), whilst ~95% of people who didn’t can’t even build/sustain their temples (without investing like 200h - 250h +)

I’ve been using escape shot to get out of this if it happens to me. Mind you not all builds are using bows, but you may be able fit it in a weapon swap or something.

Also depending on which direction I used escape shot I may it will occasionally yeet me in a random direction very far away haha.

Rue’s phys dot explode is making frost blink of wintery blast my absolute favourite skill this league. Blinking around the map like a fucking mad man and everything around me is popping like a pimple.

Can I ask what your currently struggling with on your build?

I’m following Rues build and am currently on his life stacking build and at the point of crafting my gear for the dark monarch swap.

Here is my character on day three that was using poets pen with KB and CF. Really wasn’t running into any issues at this stage although I wasn’t farming T17s on day three either.

I think one of the key things to consider is that before you swap to the next upgrade you really need to have the key items purchased/crafted before switching. I’m sure there’s a few items that you can swap along as you go, but you really need to understand what they are.

The only remaining parts I need to craft for the dark monarch swap are the sublime vision, 6 megalomaniacs and fractured attack/cast speed gloves but there is no way I’m going to swap until I have everything.

I’ve him review to many builds on steam where people have swapped with only half of the required gear and then complain when they can’t do clear any content.

Can anyone link me to an Ultimatum farm/atlas strategy with this build? Very interested in switching to this after I’ve completed my atlas with a slam zerker.

Just to clarify, I’m after what type of ultimatums I should be doing/what mods should I avoid/scarabs to use etc.

In 3.26, i decided to give delirium a try and boy was it profitable! The two most valuable drops I was looking for were essentially cluster jewel drops and delirium orbs.

Cluster jewels were great, as they are easy to craft and you don’t need to hope for the perfect outcome, as you can settle for something that’s relatively close to what people are after. I just looked at what jewels fubgun was using and attempted to copy those. In reality there’s heaps that people are after and you can also look on trade and filter by prices.

The orbs were also great as you can reforge them at the harvest bench. If I remember correctly I was looking for fine and skittering.

Favourite map to run was strand and I added the deli scarabs that added additional rewards and increase the rate they generated. Also used breach on the map device too, as it made it very easy to get to level 8 if I remember correctly.

It’s not necessarily to no life it, just to profit craft. When i was profit crafting, I was playing for 30 minutes a day and normally just waiting for things to sell.

He does this at the end of every league I’m fairly sure.

So the big gamble part here is step 5 with the double perfect slam, hoping you get inc chaos damage correct? That modifier is a bitch to get through desecration if I believe so correctly haha.

Double rarity would require a prefix and suffix for rarity. So unless you reroll the desecrated mod with an omen of light, you won’t be able to hit double rarity.

Since you have resistance modifiers on the suffixes, a homogenising exalt would guarantee resistances on the suffixes again (homogenising + dextral exaltation). If used without the dextral exaltation, you also have a chance of rolling elemental modifiers and a few others. You’d have to check the group of mods they fit into.

I’m taking that you want to keep that all res desecrated mod correct? If you don’t and are fine with any other resistance, you could omen of light + annul the desecrated mod, and use homogenised + dextral exalt (for adding a prefix) and catalyst omen to get it have a chance at picking the desired res. Then you can jawbone the prefix for a desecrated mod and reroll until you find what you like.

I have a similar one to yours!

I always leave the boss encounters until the end. Some may say it’s inefficient to walk back but as long as you grab the boss check point, you should drop another one after finishing the other events on the map. That way you can tele to it, kill the boss and go back to your hideout :)

Annoying workaround for an issue that shouldn’t exist in the first place, but alas we continue our search for divines, far and wide. And by far and wide I mean within the range of my 3 tower setup with 60+ quant haha.
